Mal and Peter were the perfect tour guides for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds. They were charming, very familiar with the various towns and shared a wealth of information. Best of all, they allowed us enough time in each village to shop and walk around. That exceeded our expectations, and indeed filled in the gaps in my own planning. So glad we met them and toured with them.

Pete and Mai are very personable and have a good knowledge of the Cotswolds. Their historical knowledge is a bit superficial and much of the tour was spent just driving around - there are no meaningful tour stops other than an occasional 10 minute drop off. In our case, their van wouldn’t start so we did the tour in a very small Audi with Pete for the first half and Mal for the second. Climbing in and out of the Audi was challenging. Just so so overall.

It was obvious you were determined to criticise. Why were you not understanding of circumstances that occurred outside of our control. We bent over backwards to make your tour as enjoyable as unfortunate circumstances happened. A vehicle breakdown was not planned by us.

This tour was conducted by a husband and wife team, who had lived in the area for 20 years. They drove us in their personal car. We explored all of the important locations, and they were able to add personal insights to the history of the area. it was great.

When we signed up for this tour, we had no idea we would leave the time together with two new friends and a wish for more time with the funny, kind, compassionate energy that is Mal and Peter. This was one of our favorite days in our 10-day long trip in the UK and will forever leave an impression on our hearts. My 21-year-old daughter and I had the pleasure of spending time with Mal & Pete today. They are hilarious & informative; we enjoyed listening to their stories as well as walking among the various hamlets, villages & towns (there is a difference, you will learn!). It was a wonderful introduction to the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds, and we wish we could have stayed four hours more!

Mal and Pete are great tour guides! They drove us around the Cotswold and shared fun facts and history in each spot. They were accommodating to our kids and pointed out fun shops that the whole family would enjoy. We had a nice break for lunch at a cute local sandwich shop. And made some stops for great photo opportunities. We love all the scenery!

Mal and her hubbie gave us a VERY personalized tour. We made track to towns I have never heard of and assured that they shared all the details of history and local knowledge. Mention postcards? Mal knows where to get stamps. Watch Father Brown on TV? We were off to visit the church used for filming. Thatched roofs are becoming fewer so they made a special side trip to assure I could see the best of what's left of them. Everything was as described, on-time and beyond our expectations.

My mom and I had a great time on our tour of the Cotswolds! We got to spend time wandering around many of the beautiful villages and learning the history of the area while driving between them. Many of the roads are two-way streets with traffic in both directions, but barely big enough for a flock of sheep to walk down! Having someone else navigate the roads, the parking, the itinerary - while providing interesting conversation and information on the area and key sites within the villages and towns - was a perfect way to explore the area.

We started our first day in the Cotswolds with this great half day tour which is a really fun way to get to know the area and see a bit of the many different villages of the countryside. Our tour guide was amazing - he showed us a great time and filled us in on many details of the history and architecture of the area. We got to see some great picture perfect spots and walk around a couple of the village main streets. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Cotswolds especially if you are not planning on driving around by yourself.

Mal and Pete’s tour was fabulous! Exactly what I was hoping for in terms of seeing beautiful, cozy villages, exploring shops and seeing the rolling hills. I found it very easy to take the train in from London to Moreton in Marsh station and Mal was waiting for me there when I arrived. Mal and Pete were more than guides, they felt like friends and were very personable with interesting stories and antidotes to share along the journey. I may just come back and do this again!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience seeing the beauty of the Cotswolds with our fabulous tour guides, Mal and Pete. They were fun, knowledgeable, and thoughtful, and they tailored the tour to our interests. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and we will certainly be back. The van we were in was spacious and they even had water bottles packed for us. We could stop and take pictures, grab a coffee or quick lunch whenever we wanted. Thank you Mal and Pete! Mal and Pete delivered on our expectation of an excellent Cotswolds day trip. They were able to show us the most popular (coach bus) spots as well as the lesser known, more traditional cotswolds villages that most people don't get to see. They also started the trip out checking our preferences and interests to cater the trip to our desires. Mal and Pete shared history, fun facts, and could run a comedy show with their quick wit and classic British humor throughout the ride. I had the most wonderful day exploring the Cotswolds with Mal & Pete. Not only are they locals and filled with information on the area, but they are also a hoot. Mal and I strolled the villages (her quickly getting a sense of my interests and choosing based on what I might like best), while Pete kept the car warm and dropped us/scooped us up as we went along making it very convenient. I learned and laughed a ton and would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.

Good tour exploring the Cotswolds for half a day. Was relaxing and convenient to be picked up and dropped off at the train station, and driven around the Cotswolds seeing popular sites and hidden gems. Appreciated the history context we received as well. The tour guides made sure that we got to do and see the things that interested us. Would have been nice to have our own time while sitting to have cream tea, but that’s just personal preference. Visiting the Cotswolds in the autumn time was wonderful to us, didn’t feel crowded and the weather was cool and pleasant

We loved Mal and Peter and thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the Cotswolds with them. It was absolutely a highlight of our trip to London and we are anxious to return to the area to explore more after getting a taste on our tour.
