- ##IMPORTANT: Before booking New College, please note the following timings: Spring/Summer 2025 (10th March to 14th October): Open daily from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm Last entry at 4:30 pm All visitors must leave the premises by 5:00 pm If you have any doubts or questions, feel free to contact us.
- New College is generally 10 to 15 minutes away from the tour’s end point. Please keep this in mind before booking.
- Wheelchair users are welcome on the tour. Please note that one small area is inaccessible, though it only accounts for a few minutes of the route. Some parts of New College may also be difficult to access. We advise caution due to uneven surfaces, curbs, and potential trip hazards. Please also be mindful of vehicles and bicycles, particularly in busy areas.
- In autumn and winter, Oxford’s rivers can experience high or low water levels. Tours may be cancelled in such cases, with a refund or alternative option provided. These conditions are beyond our control.
- Not recommended for travellers who cannot complete a 90-minute walk
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers

We had wandered around the city the day before our tour but it wasn't until we met up with Prishita, a PHD student at Oriel College Oxford University, that we truly appreciated the history and nuances of the place. With her anecdotes about the people and the buildings she brought the city and school alive. The punting was just icing on the cake. What a great way to spend the day!!

Our walking tour with Daisy was supposed to be with two other people but they didn’t show up so we had a personalized tour. Daisy was so lovely and gave us a perfect introduction to several colleges, including funny student anecdotes and examples. Finished with a beautiful funding trip on the river. Perfect tour!

Beautiful , fascinating city; brought to life by our informative,friendly tour guide Reece.
Reece was incredibly helpful and made the experience.
Would highly recommend.
The punting was also fun, again helped by our guide and steer Joe.

I highly recommend the walking tour provided by Oxford Alumni Tours as it was a very informative and enjoyable experience for me and my family. Sim was very engaging, friendly and knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and provided background about the university, student life and really interesting facts about the buildings and how things have evolved. Also, the information was balanced and well rounded, covering all relevant aspects. The unique aspect of the tour was getting insight into the application process from a student. It was thoroughly enjoyable.
