The views are outstanding. From pick up to drop off, 20 hours. The gluten free pasta offered was disgusting. The pasta the rest of us ate wasn't much better. It is Italy, I expected better

A great day out on the water. Loved the 2 spots we stopped for a swim and the village of La Madellana. Pasta lunch was a nice touch. Captain gave information along the way. Really enjoyable day.

However, we’d like to clarify that on the day of the tour, our driver arrived at the designated meeting point on time at 8:00 AM, and all other passengers were picked up and transported to the tour without any issues. Unfortunately, you were not at the meeting point when our driver arrived. In fact, you only contacted us at 8:50 AM asking where we were—well after the scheduled meeting time.
We always send a detailed message to all participants with the exact meeting location and a Google Maps link to avoid any confusion. We regret that you may have missed this information or were unable to find the meeting point, but we can assure you that our van was there and the service was provided to all other guests.

Well organised tour from start to finish. Cost Smeralda is a must see. Everything ran smoothly, the weather was fantastic and the views just incredible. The tour is pretty relaxed with few stops so you can enjoy La Maddalena and some of the islands/beaches around the area with no rush and no stress. And the water! It really feels like Caribbean. The colour of the water, the shades of the blue and emerald, it really does area’s name justice. It takes full day but it’s designed for everyone, including the elderly, to enjoy. There’s even small lunch on the boat by a beautiful beach. I recommend it 100%

Amazing experience! The scenery, beaches and water is nature's wonder!
I was a bit disappointed about the guiding of the tour, as I thought this would actually be done by a real person, not a more mechanical read from a script. The driver hardly said a word on the drive to and from the boat. So all in all a bit inpersonal.
The food was horrible. In the package lunch was included, but I would hardly call a small bowl of pasta with a minimum of not very tasty tomato sauce food. A bit "cheap" and unhealthy for Sardegna - an Italian island rich in exciting tastes. the tour could instead have given the participants more time in one of the stops to go to a restaurant to buy REAL food ourselves. So bring something to eat....

The boat tour in the La Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia was a great experience!
We were picked up in Olbia in a small, air-conditioned bus (for max. 20 people) and then brought to the port of Cannigione. From there we took a boat to the archipelago. This boat offered the possibility to sit outside or inside, had clean toilets and a bar. It was quite crowded, and I would suggest to take a sun hat and a jacket. The tour included three stops: 1. Isola Santa Maria, where we had approx. an hour to take a bath or do a small walk to a nice view point; the 2. stop was Isola Spargi for 1.5h. There was only the possibility to take a bath, but it was such a marvelous place that the time flew by super fast. The last stop 3. La Maddalena (1.5h) gave us the possibility to visit the city, get some coffee and ice cream and do some shopping. Lunch was included in the tour and was a simple but delicious pasta with tomato sauce. We ate lunch on the boat in the middle of the beautiful sea. The beauty of the landscape and sea is absolutely breathtaking! I can only recommend the tour, if you do not want to charter a boat on your own. It was a long day, but absolutely well organized and with enough time to take a bath and enjoy the mediterran sea :)

The archipelago is beautiful, the itinerary and time given for swimming for the two beaches seemed adequate. The pasta served for lunch was delicious.
Some improvements, which could have helped our experience:
1) People pushed to get on the boat at the pier. Boat staff could easily set up cones and/or organize people to form a line to avoid shoving, pushing and yelling.
2) Boat staff could let people on boat, who paid and had a ticket first. Instead boat staff made money transactions for whoever yelled first and patrons had to wait, while being pushed forward to get on boat. Again, boat staff could easily organize 2 lines (those who paid) and another line for those, who need to buy tickets.
3) They only one empty sanitizing bottle. This is a quick fix, again by boat staff.
4) The captain described the scenery and landmarks in Italian and English using a microphone, which sounded on deck by speakers. I was very interested in what he had to say but couldn’t hear it. It was difficult to understand what was being said, either from the accent or from not hearing the speakers. Maybe a head-set could have worked better.
5) The shuttle pick-up had no air conditioning and it was HOT!

L’escursione è stata molto interessante dal punto di vista naturalistico e ben organizzata, con due soste per le spiagge di Santa Maria e Spargi e una per il centro de La Maddalena. L’equipaggio è stato cordiale ed efficiente.
Il transfer da Olbia a Cannigione è stato puntuale e confortevole.
