We operate in the open field/grass runways behind the Cotton Gin. Park in the gravel parking lot SOUTH of the Cotton Gin building. Meet at the picnic table beside the trailer that says Kitty Hawk Kites and Hang Gliding. Arrive 15-30 min early from your scheduled appointment.

We had such a wonderful tandem hang gliding experience! It was truly a beautiful day, and we felt like we were flying like birds. The morning weather caused a short delay, but that was out of anyone’s control and well worth the wait. Overall, an unforgettable experience that we’re so glad we did!

My daughter (age 15) and I made the trip from Missouri to some what celebrate her father who we lost to COVID in 2021.
He was with us on our previous trips to the outerbanks, and it was our favorite area. This trip was about remembering, but also about new experiences, and this absolutely did not disappoint. Charlie (our hang glider pilot) was amazing, so was the rest of the crew on the ground,, and I am so grateful for the experience for me and my daughter.
I highly recommend the experience.
