Not a private tour as advertised

Unfortunately this is not a private tour as it states. We booked this tour with our dear friends who are also our photographer/videographers. We are newly weds and were going on this tour to add videos and pictures to our wedding footage for the Bahamas. I explained this to the person I was talking with about the tour so I could make sure it was ok. They were excited about getting pictures and I wanted to be able to stop at any point for pictures. We wanted the private charter so we didn’t mess up other peoples’ tour by our frequent stops. The day we showed up for our charter the captain explained it was too windy and asked if we were ok with doing the next day, ensuring we would get the same experience with a private charter just better because it would not be windy. We agreed. The next day they had us with another group of people instead of private. We spoke with the other group at our lunch stop and they were also guaranteed a private tour and were never told we would be sharing. I asked for a partial refund as it was not private and we were not able to do exactly what we wanted because we didn’t want to ruin the other group’s experience with our stops. The staff was fun and we did see turtles and pigs. But all the excursions do the same thing only cheaper as you are not paying for a private charter. I hate to leave a negative review. I just don’t want others to pay for a private charter and not get it.

Hello thank you for your support, I’m so sorry that this had happened to you. But I was advised by the sales agent that you booked Sunday at 10am and the weather was bad so he asked you if you don’t mind going out the next day along with another group, if you do you can cancel now. You failed to do , you then went ahead on the tour. so he also mentioned that you did everything you ask him to do and plus he give you an extra hour on the tour. Another group did book on Monday and it’s was only a 2pm pigs showing so the captain made a decision to put everyone together because both parties didn’t wanted to cancel. Our company policy doesn’t give a refund after 24hrs before the tour , but we give you the option to cancel on the day of the tour but you didn’t. It was only until after the tour you asked for 50% of your money back which is totally unfair when you already went on the tour , and did everything you wanted and get the captain to do everything you asked him to do! Once again thank you and I promise you this won’t happen again!
