Carlsbad cavern tour

The self guided audio tour for the cavern was very informative and very well marked throughout the cave. I noticed most people were walking through on their own and did not have any thing to reference other than the information within the cave. I thought our experience was much better.

Great tour with a few twists

The tour was very informative and added content we would not have gotten doing the tour alone. Only challenges was the tour recording would not play while I was trying to take pictures. We got to the lay 7 stops and somehow the sound stopped working. The tour has a written version but I didn’t want to sit and read it myself. We did the cave on two days and having the recording past the day we reserved was great. We got into the Kings Palace, which is not part of the audio tour. We were able to pick up where we left off the day before. The visitor center also a tour that you can get for only $5 so it may be better to rent theirs instead.

The audio cutting out during photos shouldn’t happen—next time, try swiping down from the notification bar to resume playback, or restart the app if it entirely stops. My self-guided audio tour offers offline access, a map, and tour guide content created with the help of a local expert and narrated by a professional voice artist. It is valid for a year and allows you to explore at your own pace. If you ever need help, my support team is available daily from 9 to 6.

Seeing the arches

After purchasing, you should have received an email with instructions on downloading the app and tour, which works offline once downloaded. The tour is valid for a year, so you can use it whenever your plans allow. I'm sorry to hear that the audio cut out during the narration—I'd love to understand what happened.
