We totally enjoyed our day trip to the Taj Mahal. The Nikita Holidays's staffs were very nice and very knowledgeable , we were pick up on time at train stations. We were happy to find a service like this that provides both transportation and sightseeing. We give the driver Omkar 10 pts

This was an amazing full day tour, and when I say full day it certainly was that being picked up at 5am from the hotel and dropped back at about midnight ...made this a very long day.....but well worth it!
We were picked up and taken to the train station, escorted right to our seats! the train ride takes about 2hrs. Rocky our tour guide was at the station to meet us, we then went to the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort another fort out of town, plus lunch and visiting shops and markets in Agra. If you have only a day this is the tour to do! Recommended!

Very well organised with professionals managing each step of the journey to Agra and back. Our guide in Agra, Rajesh, was very knowledgeable and gave us a good balance of history and great sights. Overall the tour surpassed our expectations - great day out

First, it's probably partially my fault for booking a tour that's so long hotel pickup at 5am, planned dropoff at midnight. It would have been a brutally long day if we had completed the entire thing.
But that said, by lunchtime, the guide let me know that we were ahead of schedule, and he planned to be done by 4pm, which would leave me 5.5 hours waiting for my train back to Delhi. I ended up paying the driver to take me back to Delhi by car it cost 95 rather than waiting so long for the train. Overall, the scheduling issues left a very bad taste for me.
Even beyond the scheduling problems, this tour didn't live up to the high expectations I have developed for Viator tours. The guide was very nice and friendly, but he was a little difficult to understand and didn't seem as knowledgeable as past guides I've had. The logistics of hotel pickup, train dropoff, and meeting the guide were needlessly complicated. There were 5 people involved, and I felt like I kept getting handed over to someone different.
As with many of these tours, there is a shopping component which involves them taking you around to handicraft shops where the owners try to get you to buy stuff. It's a mixed bag in terms of how much pressure there is to buy, but I get tired of saying no to people over and over again. I wanted to sightsee, not deal with pressured shopping situations.
Taj Mahal was absolutely incredible, well worth the trip alone. Agra fort was interesting since you're already in the area, but couldn't hold a candle to the Taj Mahal. I intentionally selected a tour involving Fatehpur Sikri based on a friend's recommendation. It's an interesting place, but it is REALLY far out of the way. It ends up adding 3-4 hours to the trip. I think it would be worth seeing if you were in Agra for a few days, but for a single-day trip I wish I had chosen a half-day tour of just Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Your mileage may vary.

Our trip from Delhi to Agra to see the Taj turned out to be an amazing experience thanks to the persons involved in handling the trip. Beginning from pickup at the Hotel to being helped to board the train to Agra right up to being dropped back at the a Hotel, every step was handled in an extremely efficient manner. Information given by guide Rocky at the Taj was useful as also at Fatehpur Sikri. We were four persons all aged above 60 and great care was taken to cater to our special needs. Overall a great experience. Special thanks to Viator who made this trip a memorable one.

Excellent trip. My guide Raj was well versed and easy to understand and communicate. He knew all the perfect photo spots and how to avoid the crowds. It is a long day but well worth it. The train was comfortable as well. - Jeff, Tampa Florida, USA

On my bucket list and this trip lived up to my expectations. From the pick up from the hotel to being escorted onto our fast train to being met by our guide who was truly a gem and a font of knowledge to our return trip to the Taj in New Delhi the day was exceptional. So was all the behind the scenes work undertaken by the tour operator and Raj was most interactive and quick to respond to any question we had. The shops we were taken to at the end of the day were interesting and certainly ones we would not have found by ourselves. The quality of product was also high.I cannot recommend this tour more highly

The tour is really great. The only flaw is that the guide takes you to several shopping places, but that's normal in this industry.

A great day well organised. The pick up from the hotel and transfer to the train was on time. we were taken to our seats before the guide departed. At Agra we were met and escorted for the day by Manoj the guide and Sanju the driver. Manoj had a wonderful way of giving us the history of the Taj Mahal explaining the love story that led to it being built and the unhappy family events afterwards. Manoj took photos of us a we went round and showed us the finer pints of the workmanship and materials used in the construction. The factory where the marble marquetry is practiced was really interesting. The lunch in a local restaurant was very nice. Sanju, the driver, took us to each destination safely in a comfortable car. We could not stay for the end of the tour because we had a flight to catch and we had arranged with the local operator for the driver to bring us back to Delhi and then transfer us to the airport. Sanju was with us all day and drove us the three hours back to Delhi, waited while we packed and then drove us to the airport.
I would recommend this trip.

Went to Taj Mahal and Agra on the 5th of October. The whole experience from pick up at the hotel door to drop off again was truly professional thanks to the amazing organisation.
The guide and driver from hotel to train station were efficient and pleasant with extra support on getting train and seat number provided.
Special acknowledgement to Sonny who was extremely professional and who made sure everything ran smoothly. Also to the driver Hariom and our guide in Agra who was called Rocky. Together they made the experience truly interesting and memorable.
It is a long trip but it is truly worth doing.
This is an extremely professional five star service. If you are in Delhi and wish to experience the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in Agra I would recommend this trip. Having also had experience of other trips in Delhi using Viator is worth it and is certainly value for money.

Super easy way to get the BEST experience and the most out of your day. It was a long day but it was seamless. We were kept comfortable and guided from place to place easily. We always had someone to help us navigate from door to door. Our guide and our driver were both fantastic. The van they used to transport the four of us was clean and air conditioned. We had a great lunch and ate until we were stuffed. This was the easiest and safest way to make the day trip from Delhi to Agra efficiently jam-packed with wow-moments. Thank you! 100 recommend.

I had a wonderful time touring Agra with Rocky, my personal guide. He was filled with so much information, that he had more answers then I had questions. He made it nice by doing a tour of the Taj Mahal, then look at some carpet making, before the Red Fortress and marble work before lunch. He went at my pace to allow my eyes time to wonder and take photos. Now all of this would not have been possible without a great driver as well and Raui was just that. Travel to and from were efficient and swift. I would be happy to have either or both again, if I came back to Agra.

This was an excellent trip! The tour company made it all easy--picked us up at the hotel and escorted us to the railway station and to our assigned car and seats. We were greeted at the Agra station and easily linked up with our guide, M., who ensured we had a fun-filled and educational day. We went right to the Taj Mahal and learned all about the design, plan, history, and construction approach. After walking around and in the beautiful white marble building, we enjoyed a nice walk back to the tour car and went to the nearby Agra Fort. That tour was about 90 minutes and again, M. did a fabulous job in telling us about the history and royal family members who lived there. Afterwards, we went to several handicraft shops to look at the local industries--marble inlay art, Indian handmade carpets, jewelry and jewel-inlaid tapestries. This was fascinating and we ended up buying some amazing souvenirs that will last for generations. We opted out of the third site, the 16th-century ghost town since it was about an hour drive outside of Agra. We ended a little early and the tour company team was able to get us on an earlier train back to Delhi. We had a long, enjoyable, and memorable visit and really enjoyed the sites and the whole tour to Agra!

Went to Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Everything went smooth. Guide met me at the hotel and placed me in the exact seat on the train. The next guide met me as soon as I left the train in Agra. My guide for the tour, Rishi was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My driver, Ravi, was very professional, friendly and safe. The tour exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see this amazing city.

The first thing that stuck out was how easy the trip was. The representative was promptly at the hotel to take us to the train in a private car. After picking up our tickets and taking a quick photo, he helped us navigate the train station and took us right to our seats for a ride though the country with a little breakfast. As soon as we pulled into the station at Agra our guide Rocky was right there outside of the window waiting for us. We met our driver Sanju took another private car to a hotel to clean up and we were on our way! Taj Mahal was amazing! It was truly a marvel of architecture and Rocky was very informative. He helped us take photos and showed us some inside secrets. After the tour we were brought to some local handicraft stores where the owners happily explained how the local art has been made for hundreds of years while we watched the workers demonstrate their trade. It was a great opportunity to buy some very beautiful, high quality, and unique pieces of handmade art that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Our next stop was lunch at a local restaurant and the food was fresh, hot, and quite good. Then off to the Red Fort of Agra. We went to the gates and took some photos of this impressive structure, but decided that we were hot and tired. So we changed our plans, did some more shopping, and after saying goodbye to Rocky, took the car with the friendly and funny Sanju back to Delhi to make it an early night. They were more than happy to accommodate our change in plans and we were still completely satisfied with their service. I would recommend finishing the tour and seeing all that Agra has to offer, but I am happy nonetheless.

I am satisfied joining the tour as the local tour guide is knowledgeable and very helpful. The local driver was good and drove safely. Just a minor weakness in the service shown by the Delhi liaison staff who picked us up in the station, he left us with just the driver went back to hotel. It gave bad experience.

Sunil, Sunny, Sanju and Guide Rajesh made my day the best in India so far. Their professionalism and great job are due a just recognition, I am about to finish the tour and I can say that these people are great workers. If you want have a great driver, Sanju is the guy and the best guide ever is Rajesh, he even volunteered to take pictures and video for me and taught me a lot no only about the places we went to but also about Indian culture, his job is not complete without the early pick up by Sunil, who showed me to my seat in he train to Sunny who made the transition in Agra. I am very happy with their service and I do truly recommend this itinerary with these great individuals.
The best thing this tour has is the human factor, great staff, greatly organized. Everything was perfect and the timing precise. I was always safe and felt taken care of. The lunch was also an introduction to Indian cuisine. My tour guide Rajesh was great.
Thanks again.

The tour was amazing! I had a memorable time in Taj Mahal and other places around. The service of the travel agency was great, well cordinated, very punctual, the guys very kind, and the tour guide had an excellent spanish. It really worth It as you can meet interesting places and do shopping.
Wood P, Jan 2017
The guide was excellent, very cordial and knowledgeable. He did a great job of steering me through the crowds and sights and made sure I was safe. Great choice for a female solo traveler. We saw a remarkable amount for just a one-day tour. The only part I didn't enjoy as much were the tours of the shops where one is expected to buy not-so-inexpensive local handicrafts, but that's the way these economies work. Everyone was exceedingly polite.

The tour overall was great. A representative picked us up from our hotel at 5:00 am in Delhi in a clean, AC car. He walked us into the train station and escorted us to our seats, which we were very happy he did because there were a lot of homeless folks and solicitors, and we were the only westerners in sight. Another rep met us in Agra and took us to a hotel to freshen up and to meet our guide before we arrived at the Taj Mahal. Our guide advised us to say no to the vendors and solicitors, but said he had a colleague who would take our pictures in the Taj Mahal and give us an opportunity to buy prints at a discount. The photographer new all the great spots and shots. The pictures ended up being a little pricey 10000 INR, which was split among 4 of us, but each of us got individual photo albums and a CD-rom with all the pictures, so it was worth it in the end. We were suppose to go straight to lunch after the Taj Mahal, but our guide took us to a local jewelry store and then to a marble cutter shop, both of which had ties to the Taj Mahal story and how it was built. The items were beautiful but we definitely felt pressured to buy something. It was easier to haggle the price down at the marble shop then it was at the jewelry shop. After shopping, we were then taken to lunch at a local restaurant, which was delicious. Then we were taken to Agra Fort, which we were rushed through because our guide knew we wouldn't have much time for the third and final stop, Fatehpur Sikri. We made it to Fatehpur Sikri after an hour drive. We were one of the last groups allowed into Fatehpur Sikri for the day, which was nice because we basically had the place to our selves. We were then driven back to Agra for another impromptu stop at a sari and fabric shop. We were then taken back to the train station where our rep waited with us for our train, which was 45 minutes late. Overall, the guides and reps were very nice and knowledgeable.
