Meet your guide early at your Delhi hotel, Delhi airport, or chosen central location, and journey to Agra by private, climate-controlled vehicle.

Arrive and head for the UNESCO-listed Taj Mahal, the 17th-century mausoleum built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Continue to UNESCO-protected Agra Fort, a massive 16th-century sandstone fortress that served as a palace, fortress, and prison for Shah Jahan, who was incarcerated here in full view of the Taj Mahal. Our trip from Delhi to Agra was great! We booked last minute (day before), picked up on time at hotel, and had an informational tour with Sandeep who kept the agenda flexible based on our preferences. We did stop at local shops as well. Recommend this experience - was back at Delhi around 8pm after some traffic

Good communication before departing hotel. Brij our driver was a kind spirit who offered us cold trips throughout. Also provided a smooth drive. Sandeep our guide was very passionate about Taj Mahal and explained beautifully its history. Lunch was delicious. Overall an unforgettable day.

Pickup from Hotel is very prompt and upon reaching Agra went straight to Taj Mahal. Guide Sandeep explained the history of Taj construction and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. After the trip had lunch buffet at a nice restaurant and reached back Delhi hotel by 7 pm.

Seamless fantastic trip . From collection at the hotel in Delhi, transport to Agra and back , this tour was amazing . Our guide Sandeep guided us through the mayhem that inevitably surrounds such a journey, and was brilliant in telling us the history of the Taj Mahal . Our lunch at Molecule bar was unbelievable ; so many dishes to taste, and all delicious . Our waiter there, Gopal , delivered a great service and even charged up my rapidly draining I phone battery while we ate . We also had the pleasure in meeting Sumit, our tour arranger for a short while before journey back. Thank you to everyone who made this trip an outstanding memory for us.

I have always used visitor for all my travel. We see kept upto date when our driver would arrive and was a little early which was great. From Delhi it’s 3.5 hr drive to Agra. We met our guide on Route and waited as he didn’t have our tickets. It was a boiling hot day and then had to walk 10 minutes to the Taj, which was not ideal. The place was packed. The guide then had to run around to get our tickets. Once in, the Taj is amazing in its beauty and gardens, however apart from the outside of the building there really isn’t much to see. Maybe it was own expectations, I was expecting to see a bit more about the history but you are moved like cattle around in a circle to see a replica of 2 tombs and that was it, so disappointing. The guide was somewhat knowledgeable, but felt like he wanted to rush us a bit around it all. Is it worth the money.. No.. is it worth seeing it for its beauty..Yes

Dear Elena Greetings Hope you are doing well and apologise for your discomfort. We always get tickets on arrival after confirming the names and vouchers from the guest. On 1st of October, it was a long weekend and due to this, there was a long queue at the ticket counter. People were getting tickets in at least 30 min to 45 minutes after putting themself in a long queue. But Sandy used his personal contact to get the tickets in 10 minutes for which he had to run around. Which you have also mentioned in your review. There were more than 50 thousand people at Taj Mahal on that day. So you can imagine what he has done to get the tickets quickly. The guide has to come out from Taj Mahal in 3 hours of Time as the Taj Mahal ticket is only valid for 3 hours after getting scanned at the entry gate. As per the Taj Mahal structure from inside, its all about the interest of travellers whether they love history and art or not. Our guide can tell you about the structure and explain to you the best of the history behind it but he can not change the structure. Again please accept my apologies for your discomfort and we can assure you that we will always serve the best of our services to our travellers.

The Taj Mahal is an amazing structure, but outside is everything, nothing inside. Trip is more like 3 1/2 hours or more each way, a grueling day for seeing one or two sites.

Both our driver and tour guide Sanju and Zaird were excellent. Sanju is ab excellent driver, very courteous and patient to safely bring us to and from in what is probably the most chaotic streets in the world. Zaird is just a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Taj, it was very informative and entertaining. Lunch at the Marriott was very delicious, lots of options on the buffet.

It was a great trip experience, and considering this is the first time I used Viator, I would certainly be more confident in purchasing more tours here in the future. Booking it easy, and the host I call, Sumit gave very clear instruction and made the whoel process a breeze. Clean and private car for myself, which is a very nice experience given the long hours I have to spend on the round trip. My driver Prem is super friendly, patient, calm and speaks great English. It made the trip very comfortable and much less tedious during the long ride. My guide Sandeep is an energentic young man, very knowledeable about the sites and very considerate to my needs. Would strongly recommend !!

We started the tour from the airport were the driver was very punctual, we did everything in a timely manner. He drove us to Agra in a safe way. Then we met our guide Rashid who was very knowledgeable and patient. The lunch was in a hotel buffet Wich was nice. The only thing I didn't like is that they will take you to several stores waiting for you to buy stuff, of course, if you don't buy anything there's no problem but still you feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was good.

Our trip to the Taj Mahal was fantastic, such beauty! We were concerned about both the fog and the haze, especially as we neared Agra and the countryside was still covered in a thick smog. Somehow the sky was blue when we finally arrived a little before noon. We’d heard weekends were overcrowded so we visited on a Monday and it was quite comfortable. Our guide gave us great explanation and allowed us to move around the site at our own pace. Lunch at the Marriott was perfect. We visited a couple shops and even though weren’t interested in shopping the demonstration and description of the crafts and craftsmanship were wonderful. There were definite sales pitches but no pressure at all to buy, everyone was very gracious. We also visited the fort in Agra which was also very interesting and we were quite glad to see it. The thing that made it work so well for us was having a guide that cared enough to make sure our tour was smooth, informative and the kind of experience we’d hoped for. A great guide and a thorough tour company can make all the difference, thankfully we had both, highly recommended!!!

The private tour was great! We were able to customize our start time and how much time we spend wondering around. Vinny was very patient with my girls (12 and 10 yrs old) and took the most amazing photos. Gave enough history about Taj Mahal to keep it interesting for the girls and made our visit fun. Overall, even thought it was a very hot day, we had water and umbrellas from the driver, so it wasn't too hot.
