We had a wonderful tour of Haridwar and Rishikesh and can’t recommend it highly enough.
Our driver was fantastic — incredibly friendly, professional, and thoughtful throughout the day. He shared a lot of history while driving, checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and was always happy to stop whenever we asked. He even recommended a great restaurant along the way. Despite starting very early in the morning and finishing late at night — and dealing with some less-than-ideal weather — he maintained a consistently positive attitude that really set the tone for the day.
Our tour guide was equally excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were able to see everything we hoped to see. He shared fascinating background on the region, especially its importance in Hinduism, which added so much depth and meaning to the experience. His explanations were clear, engaging, and never rushed.
Overall, this was a smooth, well-organized, and enriching experience with a team that truly cared about making the day special. We’re very glad we chose this tour and would absolutely recommend it to others.

The driver was excellent. It took us 4-5 hours to get there. We picked up the tour guide and walked around a little and had lunch. The tour guide seemed to lecture us vs giving us a tour. The ceremony was the most interesting part. After it was over, we drove 4 hours home. It was a very long day, not sure what we saw justified 9 hours in the car.

Good people and reliable driver, showed us around both cities. Very important for foreigners to feel safe and comfortable.
Key attraction is obviously the Gaanga Arti which makes the long trip worth it if it's a once in a lifetime thing.
Note the trip is very long and tiring, started at 7am from Delhi and arrived at the first sight at ~11.30am. Sightseeing until 5.30pm when the Gaanga Arti starts at Haridwar, until ~6.15pm when you can be on your way back home.
Appreciating that some people/men may have not seen foreigners before and our guides were quite helpful, but I think more could be done especially to make women feel safer from locals staring and acting weird.
Tour recommended for anyone wanting to experience these very nice sights.

One of the best day tour in India, very authentic and awesome sightseeing tour.
The Ganga Aarti is the most spiritual and felt blessed. The drive was very smooth and the vehicle was so neat and clean.

This add-on was one of the highlights of our trip to India to do the Golden Triangle, and we found it to be worth the long drive. First of all, our driver, Bl Sharma, was a lovely man and made the journey very comfortable and pleasant. We did the tour with the guide and we found this helpful for explaining what we were seeing throughout our time in Rishikesh and Haridwar. The highlight, though, was Ganga Aarti. It was unforgettable. I highly recommend this day trip for those strapped for time.

Very bad Taxi and driver was not giving any option to stop at restaurants. Given Taxi was very small and old and not comfortable at all. Driver was stopping as per his will.

Don't try to be over-smart, as your feedback doesn't affects our travelers who have strong enthusiasm to visit Haridwar and Rishikesh.
Instead of copying us as a copy cat, try something new that India proud you but not shame.
Also, our all the vehicles are above 2022 models which is absolutely new, neat and clean condition, so blaming someone please improve yourself first.

The tour was amazing!It is a long way from Delhi but the driver Mr.Sharma ensured that the journey is comfortable for me and safe. The perfect gentleman! It's a longer drive from and to Delhi, so be prepared for a good 9 hour total in the car. The driver was super humble and nice and did everything to make my journey as comfortable as possible, and even provided a pillow. Very sweet and kind. The guide Ajay too was amazing and ensured a informative time and all the comforts during the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the Hindu customs and history, you can learn a lot from him. Loved the tour. It mentions a Pooja by a hindu priest in the agenda that is included in the tour, but there was no such thing - but it's not a big deal. I loved Rishikesh and will rate it 5 star

Ajay, our guide, did a really good job of taking care of us, taking photos, helping us to understand as many details as it is possible in such an incredible place. We had some specific things that we wanted to buy in the market, so was very good at being flexible, which is always necessary with teenagers… For lunch also, at our request he found a local place, not some luxury restaurant for tourists only, just local delicious food.

What was amazing. I was a little reluctant about taking this tour but shortly after I met the driver I knew I made the right decision of deciding to continue with the tour. Ajax was lively and knowledgeable and genuinely kind. I felt like he appreciated the nature of his job and I would tour with him again in the future.

It was a very good tour. I have seen a lot of ashrams and Ganga Aarti.
The guide offered many info about hindu religion and yoga.
Also the driver was perfect for the 9 hours ride from an to Delhi

The driver Pawan was absolutely fantastic and professional. I felt extremely comfortable as a solo traveller travelling with him.
The guide, however, once we arrived was unprofessional and unenthusiastic. He showed me a few temples and then that was that and he told me we had lots of time and nothing to do. It would have been better to arrange a driver without a guide and save a lot of money. The guide has more interest in taking selfies with me and asking me uncomfortable questions as opposed to taking me to see any sights.
He also made me pay for a boat across the river which was ludicrous with the price of the tour. I am not even sure what I paid for!

This tour was outstanding from beginning to end. The driver for this tour - Pawam - was especially outstanding. He was prompt, professional, kind, and informative, and made this entire tour particularly special. Ajay was the guide who met up with us in Haridwar and Rishikesh, and he was also outstanding. His enthusiasm and knowledge of important background information was evident and enhanced the tour. As for the tour itself, the sites and experiences that were a part of it were fantastic and memorable. Rishikesh is an amazing place with the sacred Ganges at its heart, and experiencing the aarti an ashwam in Haridwar were particularly memorable and special to have the opportunity to be a part of. Be prepared for a very full, but very fulfilling day if you take this tour. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to gain insight into a slice of India's culture.

This is a Religious and Cultural tour where "ALCOHOL AND SMOKING" during the Temple, and Preying during the Ganga Aarti are strictly prohibited as per Indian Penal Code.
You asked the guide to get "BEER AND CIGARETTES" during the Ganga Aarti is disrespecting of god in Indian Culture. Rest all other people must be praying and you loudly asking for "ALCOHOL" so our guide took the appropriate decision by saying "I am so sorry sir but alcohol isn't allowed here". We thank you our team for saving our culture and religion from such things as you were asking for it and we know this is the only reason you wrote this review.
We thank you for letting other travelers know that this tour is completely about Indian Religious and Culture we pray to god for our Life and Prosperity.

Very nice tour, the highlight was definitely seeing the ganga aarti ceremony. Both cities are very beautiful and it's nice to see both the ganges (ganga) river and the foot of the Himalayas. My tour guide was local so he knew how to get around and was very knowledgeable. I did a few tours in India and Haridwar and Rishikesh was probably the most special experience because of the ganga aarti ceremony.

This tour was fabulous. Starting with the driver, Mr Prakash who skillfully navigated us through the thickest fog I've ever encountered for over an hour and the what I term India driving. We met the guide, Pankaj, who was quite knowledgeable about each of the sights we visited and always asked if I had questions, which of course I did, since there were so many things that were said that was quite similar to the Bible. When I was ready to quit, because it was such a long day and I told him I didn't want to see the Ganga Aarti, he convinced me to at least go to the site and he would explain things. I'm so glad he did. That was the other favorite part of this trip. While I didn't stay for the ceremony, to see the people and understand why they were all there was so informative and brought a deeper appreciation for their commitment. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the culture and religion. It will open eyes and you also get your steps in. Loved it.

Great tour overall with a very kind driver and guide. Driver asked us many times if we were comfortable and if we needed anything. He drove safely and the car was clean. The guide was also very friendly and did a great job showing us as much as he could, while also taking into consideration our own wishes. Witnessing the ganga aarti in Haridwar was a once in a lifetime experience.

The entire tour was incredible! We got to see the beautiful, calm city of Rishikesh! Then we moved to Haridwar where we’re could see the hustle and bussel of the river ceremony! This has definitely been my best tour thus far in India! We got to see a different side of India in the beautiful region surrounded by the Himalayas and the river Ganges.

This review would have been 5 stars for the tour guide in Rishikesh. She was informative, friendly and super helpful! We had the best time there! However, our day was soured by the driver. He was unsure of where to go and kept falling asleep at the wheel going and coming. We tried to keep him awake by talking to him, but he wouldn't talk much and then close his eyes again. It was terrifying.

We would like to inform you that our driver Mr.Dharam Singh has 10 years of experience in this trade and this is the first time we have received feedback that the driver was sleeping during the tour which is not possible. He speaks less and is very meaningful full but it doesn't mean he was sleeping, it was not possible even while driving.
Our team was in touch with the driver and he said that the traveler thought that I am sleeping even though I am driving very carefully I replied "Mam I am driving but not sleeping whihc is not possible to sleep while driving and I will drop you hotel on time and safely, don't worry!".
It is our priority to make our travelers safe (safety is our priority) and we also arrange everything on time for pick up and drop off as well.
Hope this response would be helpful for other upcoming travelers as well.

Mr. Shamar (driver) and Mr. Naveen (guide) we’re wonderful! Mr. Shamar safely transported us to Rishikesh/Hardiwar from/to Delhi. We stopped at a clean rest area, visited an off road sugar cane factory and throughout the drive were able to see daily life of various villages and towns. When in Rishikesh, Mr. Naveen took us to the landmarks including bridges, temples, through markets, a boat ride across the Ganges River, and an amazing lunch at Little Buddha Cafe. We then attended the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat- which was smaller scale than Hardiwar, but much more intimate and a powerful ritual… a spiritual dance took place after. We ended in Hardiwar, along the River and through the markets. An excellent day!

While the driver was not to blame for this terrible review, our experience was awful. Rather than admit that there would be no English speaking tour guide so we could cancel prior to departing Delhi, we were left with the driver from Delhi to Haridwar that spoke very little English. He was on his mobile as we were leaving Delhi and clearly upset as he was yelling - obviously talking to the tour operator that told him he was left to attempt to deliver the tour. Once we arrived in Haridwar he wanted to leave us on our own for 2 hours and we objected - we didn't feel safe, nor did we want to spend 2 hours at this location. He got the tour operator on the phone who then admitted there wasn't an English speaking tour guide. From Haridwar the driver had to pick up some random Rickshaw driver that accompanied us to Rishikesh - seemingly because the driver from Dehli didn't know how to get there. Then there was an endless series of phone calls during the drive to Rishikesh to find someone that spoke English - that we met in the parking lot! We did not get to see half of what was supposed to be included in this tour - it was an absolute disaster after traveling 11 hours roundtrip and feel that a refund is in order. I have used Viator many times in the past and realize that they subcontract so this is not a direct reflection of Viator but rather the tour company they subcontracted with, If the subcontractor had been upfront and told us no English speaking guide was available, we would not have taken this tour. We didn't find out until 5 hours later when we were already in Haridwar!

This is with the reference of your tour from Delhi To Haridwar and Rishikesh. The trip is customized and can go according to you. Usually we have made itinerary where we starts with "Har Ki Pauri" where traveler spend almost 1 to 2 hour but when you reach there it was your wish to go to Mansa Devi temple which is absolutely not mentioned in the itinerary so we have given you options Either you can go Mansa Devi or Rishikesh and Ganga Aarti becuase it was not possible to cover in a single day but there is an issue in your knee and you can't walk a lot so we have decide with your permission and took you to Rishikesh where you have covered River Side Stop, Laxman Jhula, covered all Aashrams mentioned in itinerary along with boat riding in Rishikesh after that there was an very awesome Ganga Aarti you left just becuase you denied to go there after asking twice. Obviously it is customized tour so your wish is our priority. Also that is a Religious place so beer facility not available over there at Aashrams and Temples.
If you think driver was rude so we are very sorry from our side. Our driver is well trained and have great years experience in this field. Also we have arranged English Speaking tour guider over there becuase day was election day in Delhi and our guider does not work so we have arranged at Haridwar and Rishieksh.

Excellent attention from Mr. Sharma the driver and Chandresh the guide. Very dedicated. Getting to these places takes at least 4 hours so I recommend starting as early. There's a lot to see and the day goes fast. If there is time it is advisable to spend 2 days

ドライバーは陽気で車窓から見える景色を冗談も交えながら楽しく説明してくれた。ニューデリーからリシケシまでは4時間超と非常に長時間だが、道中で休憩も交え、快適な旅ができた。日帰りの旅を堪能したが、往復10時間ほどの距離を事故なく安全に旅できたことに感謝を伝えます。
