We were in India for twelve days, and Badal was easily the best guide we had the entire time. He was fluent and easygoing; he answered all of our questions and showed us a great time. Even if you're just in Delhi one day, DO THIS TOUR! I travel all over the world for food experiences and this was one of the best as you get a real feel for the ancient, jubilant, chaotic culture of Old Delhi! Pradeep, our guide, was so knowledgable and friendly and catered the itinerary to our interests. We tried so many different foods and snacks throughout the tour (way more than advertised!) and all restaurants/stalls/shops were well known, highly frequented establishments, many of which have been serving food for 50 years or more. We took a variety of rickshaws, tuk tuks, and metro trains to reach all the destinations which gave us another authentic another glimpse into life of a local in New Delhi. This tour is run by "Delhi By Locals" which is exactly what is! I highly recommend this for an authentic, memorable, and delicious travel experience!

What an absolute pleasure to be guided around the Old Town of Delhi by Salman. I very knowledgeable and personable young man . It was more like a friend taking us out for a street food feast to places as an older couple would never try on our own for fear of a bad stomach the next day , which , needless to say we didn’t suffer from. Chandni Chowk Adventure!

What an adventure! This was one of the most ambitious and exciting excursions we booked in Delhi for myself, my husband and 2 kids (ages 6 and 4). Salman and Abishek took us through the streets of Chandni Chowk, on foot, by auto, by pedal riksha, you name it. Definitely a place to go only with experienced pros! Among the sights, smells, and sounds there was so much to take in! The food was wonderful and we definitely had our favorites. The Chole bhatura was the best we've ever had and I have finally converted to being a jalebi fan, only in Old Delhi! (Also just a tip: Carry light. I had a backpack on and it was difficult to maneuver through the busy streets. Bring only what you need.)

The tour was held in old delhi. Definitely recommend looking up the area prior to booking to get a feel for the atmosphere. However, once comfortable with surrounding areas, you'll find that the food is amazing and the people are more than hospitable. We only finished about half the tour due to oncoming weather, but what we experienced was a perfect blend of history and taste.
