- The laser light show begins after 7 PM, and the temple tour lasts 4-5 hours including Light show. The selected time slot will be your pickup time. Please plan your booking accordingly.
- Cameras, USB/PEN drives, music devices, and other electronic items are not allowed inside the temple. These should be safely stored in the free cloakroom.
- We are expert in proviidng group tour accomodation.
- Temple entry closing time is 6:30 pm so plan accordingly.
- The tour does not include pickup and drop-off times.
- One to two people: Four-seater sedan. Three to five people: Six-seater wagon.
- Six to twelve people: Twelve-seater van.

We booked our excursions for 4:00pm as it was evening but were picked up around 3:15, due to possible traffic. Our guide was Pankaj. Got to see Gandhi memorial first, which was very peaceful and very touching…seeing his life and last days spent at the house were very eye opening. Many great writings around the house that belonged to Gandhi that make you reflect on today’s world. Next we went to the temple, but be aware you cannot take any electronics (chargers, phones, eye watches, etc), so you won’t be able to capture photos. We were able to leave our things with the car driver so we didn’t have to spend time inside dealing with it. But honestly it’s better to be present in the moment. Pankaj was very informative through the tour and made sure we got to experience everything in the tour package. The light show at the end was beautiful and Pankaj was helpful in explaining the storyline as it was in Hindi. Pankaj was very helpful in making sure we understood the story. The only thing I would recommend is doing a later tour time. Even 3/4pm is too early. We did get to see the temple at night as we were leaving, but it probably would have been beautiful to see it fully lit up during the entire duration, the only thing is the fountain show would be late around 9:15pm…Seeing the temple during the day was beautiful and seeing it lit up after the show was great too. Would recommend this half day tour for sure. Maybe aim for a weekday as it gets busy on Sundays when we went.

Fun evening tour with a great guide and driver.
We visited the Ghandi museum and then the Akshardham Temple.
Pankaj could be a tour guide himself, as he went out of his way to point out sights along our driving route .
You can feel safe with the driver waiting and keeping all electronic equipment in the car while you are there.
Prakash knew the temple very well and we had a seamless time at the light show, gallery hall exhibits and the temple (his timing was impeccable).
We had a perfect evening at the Akshardham temple thanks to our knowledgable guide Prakash Sharma.

Fun evening tour with a great guide and driver. The temple being fairly new is quite interesting and shows quite a bit of the past history of the area. The light and water show is well done and the guide explains what’s going on as it’s not in English

We had a perfect evening at the Akshardham temple thanks to our highly knowledgable guide Adin and our driver Pankaj. Both Pankaj and Adin were flexible, knowledgable and excellent with communication regarding the evening. Pankaj could be a tour guide himself, as he went out of his way to point out sights along our driving route and answer questions we had regarding the area. I loved this tour. We had a thoughtful and knowledgeable tour guide named Manoj Ahirwar and he made the experience memorable. The intricate details of the grounds and the temple is amazing. The water and light show is one the best I have ever seen. Extremely creative.
Just Be aware that they do not let you bring in any electronics, backpacks into the gates and to enter the temple “ no shoes allowed”.

Kuldeep our tour guide and our driver Pankaj Kumar were excellent! We had such an amazing experience with both. Strongly recommend you do this with a guide rather than solo! My guide Mayank not only provided a safe place for electronics (no phones/iWatches, cameras, etc allowed inside), gave the benefit of his experience (best place to sit on boat = mid-front but not first row, best seats for water show = front, not sides), and told good stories (how did Ganesh get an elephant head? Why is this temple in Guiness Book of World Records?). Temple is very much focused on Swami founder and all things Invented by India, but still fun

Beautiful temple and awesome water/light show. Had a blast visiting thee biggest Hindu temple in the world, even if photos aren't allowed. Mayan was a great tour guide who taught me a lot about the temple and the Hindu religion. Panama was a great driver too.
