A view of Negril behind the curtains

Marc took us on an immersive tour of Negril. We not only covered the usual spots like Ricks , the beach and local shopping area, we visited the area east of Negril to see the local neighborhoods that the workers who make things happen at the resorts reside in. He is very personable and freely answered all questions about Negril and Jamaica, especially post hurricane questions. We had a great time on this tour and highly recommend it!

Charles was an awesome tour guide! We learned so much about Negril, and we wanted to change one of the stops for more time at 7mile/margaritaville, and he was happy to accommodate. Charles was fun and made the experience special since it was my birthday. Also, I had misplaced my phone armband, and he immediately turned the vehicle around so I could go back and find it! We were born in Cameroon. The tour gave us an opportunity to relive our childhood life in the same kind of environment 45 years ago. The way they build, goats and other animals running around, birds singing and diverse plants at proximity. We enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent and must do

Wayne was our driver and we couldn't have had a better person. This was the best thing we did. We got out into the local area. Wayne was the best. He showed us everything and taught us about the history of negril and Jamaica. He even showed us different healing plants. There are no words to explain how awesome it was. He was patient and never rushed us. This is something you've got to do. Having a private tour is the best way to go to learn about Jamaica. Get off the resort. Shout out to Wayne, our driver. He's the best.

Nice relaxed tour

The tour was great and Dale was a awesome host. He told us alot about the areas we drove threw and waited for us at each location allowing us to move at our own place through the tour. If you're looking for something chill and low key this is a great option. We stopped at the beach, had lunch at a local shop (the curry goat was the best!) went to a store and finally ended at Rick's which was really the highlight of the tour.

We had a wonderful experience booking this tour. The driver was very friendly, shared a lot of knowledge about the island with us and kept us engaged. He was very patient waiting for us to shop, swim, and dine. The experience was worth the money as we got to experience Jamaican cuisine and mingle with locals. I would certainly do it again !!

Adrian the tour guide was great! He was knowledgeable about the area. He was patient while waiting. It was raining and he held an umbrella over our heads one by one to get in and out the car. He educated us about different trees and the culture.

Very fun tour. It was raining so we didn't see divers but people were jumping in & enjoying themselves. I definitely recommend this tour. We also were taken to gift shops & 7 mile beach which was beautiful. The tour guide did not rush us at all.

Best of the West Jerk Hut for lunch was perfect! Loved hearing about the history of Jamaica and visiting Fort Charlotte. Rick's was a hopping place and cliff divers were fun to watch. Dale took us to a local shop to buy some souvenirs too. He was so friendly and knowledgeable! We loved our time with him and would recommend him and his company to anyone who wants a real Jamaican excursion off the resort scene. Thank you for a great day Dale!

This was the BEST day we had in Jamaica!

I want to start off by saying we did A LOT of different things in the one week we spent in Jamaica. This tour was by far my favorite. From the time Charles picked us up he was sooo cool and down to earth! We didn’t really have a set agenda as we booked so much already and wanted to just wing it. He took us to all of the neat places you don’t google on the map..we learned about the different things grown here, and he took us to a more discreet beach area, Woodstock. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach fit for a screensaver..THIS IS IT!! The people we met along the way were extremely friendly and welcoming…definitely have him pass by to get some honey bananas! Cutest little tastiest things ever! Charles has such a fun and energetic vibe about him me and my boyfriend enjoyed every single minute of being in his company. I’ve been on tours where it was awkward trying to fill in the time with random conversation but this was like having another person added to our group. He went off to the side to catch some shade while we sat and relaxed at the beach for a few hours and (we wanted to since we didn’t need as much time at Ricks Cafe after being there the day before) and introduced us to some locals who made it an even better experience for us. We sat and experienced Ricks again ending the night. We spent the whole day touring with Charles and it still wasn’t enough..we will DEFINITELY be reaching out to him when we go back to Jamaica. Look no further, he is the safest, friendliest, humble, and just coolest person you’ll ever meet!

I highly recommend!! We had a great time! Our tour guide Adrien was super accommodating and insightful! We really got to experience the local culture and food!! We had a blast a Rick’s!! You have to stop at by Best in the West Jerk Chicken for authentic Jamaican food on the way back to your hotel! We had an such an amazing time. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Our little brother who’s 11 also had a lot of fun. Great trip for the entire family!

Not a real tour

The guide was nice, but we expected to get out of the vehicle and actually tour Negril and all he did was drive us around for about 40 mins. He did not give us any history about Negril. He pointed at the lighthouse and informed us that it was located “over there” but didn’t even slow down so that we could at least take pictures. We made it to Ricks cafe around 3 pm not at sunset and we asked about shopping he took us to one souvenir store then dropped us back off at the resort. We were really disappointed and should have mentioned it to the guide but we were afraid and didn’t want to make him angry so we really just got ripped off.

Hi Sharon! We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour. Upon discussion with the guide, the day of your tour, unfortunately, it was raining. He did the best he could regarding the rain and an umbrella, but as you know, there are not many places to get out and explore if it's raining. In addition, most people don't want to get out of the car if it is not in ideal conditions. Regarding not making the guide "angry," our guides never get angry, and they are very accomodating (you can see from previous reviews), if you ask them to do something, they will gladly do it! These are private tours, so they are all about you. If you want to see or do more, you have to let the guides know, that is the beauty of private tours. We hope you return to the island and when doing another private tour, make sure to let the guide know what you want to do or don't want to do; it's all about making your experience a great one! We really enjoyed our time during our excursion in Jamaica. Our private tour guide Cedric was GREAT and accommodating. The car was cleaned and with good A/C. He picked us up and took us to our planned destinations. Along the way he provided us with Jamaican history in connection with the different many different Parishes. He also showed us a statue of Usain Bolt. He succeeded with making our day an exciting and memorable event. Cedric certainly met and exceeded our expectations. We would certainly recommend him. The Highlight of our Trip was the Grilled Lobster for Lunch and My Cliff Jumping at “Ricks Cafe”. We would certainly recommend Cedric to be your next tour guide. “Respect”
