Great way to get around

Michael_L, Apr 2026
Great way to see the sights. Fun to sit on upper deck. You may have to wait longer than the posted stop at times.

Good driver

Mary_S, Apr 2026
I didn't get off at 5 but accidently kept riding. At 5.30 the driver asked where I needed to be dropped. It was then that I realized I was past time. He was most gracious. Bravo to that driver.

Easy way to see some...

Lorie_J, Mar 2026
Easy way to see some highlights with a nice introduction to some key spots. The driver was friendly and kind.

Excellen tSight seeing adventure

Russell_S, Mar 2026
Hop on hop off is the best way to see everything ,you go thru the city and to all the important places to see.

Best way to see the sights

David_W, Feb 2026
Simple process to get to and definitely the best way to see the sights. A must if you are visiting. Great audio throughout the tour.

Waited over an hour!

Lynda_C, Jan 2026
Waited an hour for the bus to show up. It said it should be every 30 minutes in low season. Would rather get the public buses next time much cheaper & more frequent. They go to all the same places and more.

Beautiful views of Monaco

Grissel_G, Sep 2025
The experience was very nice lots of sunshine in the open air with beautiful views of Monaco. The narration was great.

Informative and Convenient

Patricia_L, Sep 2025
This was a very easy and comprehensive overview of Monte Carlo. Many historical and current facts about the areas is included. If you can, try to get off at the Palace by 11:30 am to watch the changing of the guard at 11:55 pm. For people who are cruising there is a stop right at the cruise terminal.

Hop on experience

Jacqueline_C, Sep 2025
Very convenient way to travel the city and its highlights. There are 130 cabs and they are still too hard to catch. It’s very hilly and challenging to walk. Highly recommend.

Definitely worth getting on and off

Susan_O, Sep 2025
Stops in great places. Got to see the places on our list. The earbuds with all the languages was very helpful.

Terrific tour of the city

Rocke_B, Aug 2025
Great way to see the city in about an hour and then go back to specific sites of interest. Boarding at the casino stop is an excellent place to begin the tour

Save your time with multiple sights in the city

Maverick_M, Aug 2025
Very convenient with Monaco Hop on Hop off tour. It brings you to 12 top sightseeing spots in Manaco. Monaco is hilly, very often with steps. With this Hop on Hop off tour, it saves your time and energy, so you can have better time to experience what Monaco has to offer

Great way to get around and explore

Sarah_S, Aug 2025
Always a great experience and with the free boat ride includes well worth it . Plenty of buses and not much time to wait for the next one . Easy to get on and off and good signage

Helpful, but area may be walkable depending on plans

Nancy_H, Jul 2025
This was helpful n that we arrived and departed Monaco by train. We took the full loop to hear about the area the used it lie. Bus to visit selected sites. It soon became apparent that the winding roads of Monaco cause the bus to spend a lot of time covering ground that could have been easily walked, giving more time to explore. Compare which attractions you want to visit with a street map to see if transport is needed.

Disappointed and waste of money

Jenny_R, Jul 2025
Do not book. We arrived via ferry and took us 40 minutes to find the closest bus stop. This included going in the wrong direction several times and asking locals for guidance before finding the closest stop. We traveled in July and bus was very hot with poor ventilation in the bottom. We were not provided with a map of town and arrival times were not reliable. Suggest to take the city buses as they are air conditioned and have visible and multiple signage. There are more city buses available for transfer, they are reliable, and provide arrival times for bus. I paid for five individuals and only used the hop on and off bus to get to one stop. Very disappointed in the service. Despite the poor reviews by other customers, thought we’d give it a try and now understand where poor reviews come from. Very upset that we paid for all five members of our family for one day pass and only used it from one stop to another.

Professional assistance

Jesse_B, Jul 2025
It is an excellent way of seeing the majority of the city when you only have a couple of days spend in the country. I booked the activity a couple of months prior to doing it and they gave me a friendly reminder. They were very helpful in answering my questions.

Great way to see Monaco’s highlights.

Jill_M, Jul 2025
Quick one hour round trip view of Monaco. You are provided earplugs for speakers at each seat that plays a pre recorded script as you go through the city. The script has great information on some of the historical places you pass and stop by. Traffic through tunnels and the driver making announcements make it tough to hear sometimes but it’s not too often. Monaco is beautiful and this hop on hop off takes you to all the highlights. Things to keep in mind- it’s crowded during the high season, so be prepared to wait for a bus at some of the stops. Also I’d recommend sitting on top, even if it’s sunny. You go through a lot of shade and you will get a breeze. The bottom is not air conditioned and has limited views.

Not that great; they didn't really have interesting facts about the landmarks

Jan_G, Jun 2025
It wasn't that interesting and stopped for 15 minutes at one stop snd we sat on the bus boiling, it was difficult to hear the narration and I kept getting hit by the trees

We loved it!

KIM_D, Apr 2025
This is a great way to get around and see Monaco. We stayed on for the first hour and did the complete tour, then we got off at the places we wanted to see. Stops are hard to find but you are looking for a red bus stop. Look at the on-line map and see which one is nearest. We had no problems but I imagine in the summer months when busy, there could be queues.

Too crowded

Doreen_T, Nov 2024
It was so crowded we couldn’t even get on and they did not come often enough. It was a waste of money ☹️

awfull

S_S, Nov 2024
none bad commentary not able to hear it plugs did not work worst hop on hop bus i have ever taken ...............................................

Worth the money!! Easy to use!!

James_D, Oct 2024
This turned out to be a terrific way to view the sites in Monaco. We had a little trouble finding the starting point for the bus, but once we did it was great. We took the 1 hour round trip first to see each of the 12 sites on the bus route, and then we hopped off at the ones that were interesting to us. We checked out the Monaco Palace, the Princess Grace rose garden, and the Grand Casino. After the last run of the bus, we grabbed dinner at a great restaurant called Chez Pierre. When we finished, we were trying to grab an Uber for the ride back to our airbnb, but couldn't get the app to work. The kind and funny Marco (the owners son) explained that Uber is illegal in Monte Carlo, and helped us procure a taxi. This was a great day!!

Monaco hop on/off

Helen_C, Oct 2024
Bus tour ok .. highlight would be palace. Commentary in numerous languages. Frequency ok. Easy to locate.

Red Bus a no show

Michael_G, Oct 2024
Disembarked Cruise line and walked to the nearest posted RED BUS stop…waited for over an hour …. a bus never arrived within the hour. We walked over to the posted TAXI sign and chose to use a taxi. We would like to get refund.

Easy way to get around!

Hilarie_W, Sep 2024
The bus was available , clean, nice bus drivers, plenty of seats. Easy to find. Stopped at all the important places.

Not as good as expected.

Julia_M, Sep 2024
We could hear hardly anything and what we could hear was out of sync with the sights. The driver also spoke over the information at times and we did not learn anything.

Monaco

Hans_B, Sep 2024
Convenience in getting around the "City". A little crowded later in the PM. Easy on/off. Stops near the attractions.

Learn the area in about an hour

Julia_E, Sep 2024
Great way to learn the area in one day. It was very hot the day we travelled. After sitting up top we moved to the lower interior of the bus.

Does what it says on the tin

Helen_W, Aug 2024
Getting a seat upstairs and the wind making the temp more bearable Commentary a bit shonky. Quite a few places it was music. Not kid friendly. Downstairs sooooo hot Free headsets but no help with them. Train station stop 6 really busy and although there is a Q once the bus arrives it becomes a free for all. Train station stop. Put down the hill. To the right. Not in the square area where google says but to the right.

Not impressed!

Jill_H, Aug 2024
That’s a very, very first stop. We had to wait an hour for the bus to stop and pick us up. While going to the next stop, the bus broke down. It took a while for the driver to get the bus to start up again. Not a very good first impression of your hop on hop off tour.
