Overview
The coastline of the Aegean Sea has plenty of prehistoric landscapes and ancient sights to discover among the turquoise waters. Set out from Milos on a trip to the Papafragas volcanic swimming pool on this half-day tour, then head to Sarakiniko: a geological site known as the ‘Lunar Landscape’. You’ll also have time to explore the traditional architecture of Plaka as you walk its cobblestone streets.

We had a most memorable tour thanks to Marios. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited and a lover of history which my husband loved. The time spent at each stop was perfect and he ensured we got to see as much as possible on this tour. It was just two of us so in actual fact a private tour. This was a great experience to get to see all the main villages/towns in Milos. Then you can go back to the places you liked best. We went back to Sarakiniko and are planning to go back to Plaka to watch the sunset. The guide was soo knowledgeable and very friendly. He didn’t rush us. We even went to see the mines, thanks to the driver for his driving skills. I had no idea were even on Milos. Sarakiniko beach was breathtaking, he showed us the caves and gave us enough time to explore. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it.

Had a great time learning about the history of Milos! Our tour guide, Jones, was very nice and he showed us the best cafe/bakery called Mouratos. We went back multiple times during our trip.

This tour was a great way to learn some history of the island and it was very helpful to get an overview of where things are, especially if you are not renting a car and planning to use buses, which is very doable. Yannick was a fantastic guide, informative, personable, friendly, helpful and he had a great approach to the tour. If I was to change anything I would have less time at Sarakiniko and maybe tag that onto Plaka instead. Sarakiniko is impressive as a sight but I didn't feel I needed and hour there but that is just me personal view. The meeting point was easily found and communication was very clear from the vendor. We had a nice group, 3 Spanish, 2 Australian and 1 Irish.
I would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone, I enjoyed every minute, including the stop at the bakery to refuel! Thanks Yannick for a wonderful tour.

You lean a lot of history about Milos, but the best are the sights you see, just unbelievable. You see them up high and you get to swim if you want. Only bad thing was when they changed the time for an hour later in order to combine 2 groups together. That messed us for our afternoon trip

The tour was incredible! Loved all the stops. If anything could have improved I would suggest longer stay in plaka v the beach. Or make it part of the itinerary letting tourists know that the stop is an hour to be prepared to swim.

Great tour! It was so convenient getting picked up in the village we are staying in. We learned about the rich history of Milos from our driver. He was so knowledgeable and kind. The van was comfortable and air conditioned, which was very helpful in the summer heat. Highly recommend.

We came from cruise ship and we took small group or private excursions on every Greek island. Milos trip with Marinos was the most informative, he is the best tour guide! I didn’t expect to learn soo much about his magnificent island. It was so well paced and we got to see sooo much. Want to give it 10 starts if I could.

The guide was an expert in Milos history—in particular—the pirates. He was knowledgeable friendly etc. He even took us to one place we requested and a few places not in the description. However, the tour was from 10am-2pm—so four hours—not 5. I realized after that we never made it to catacombs or spent any time in Plaka (other than a quick drive through) and we missed the Venetian castle at the top as well.
