Amazing place but we felt teased

2 visits are included in the experience. The first is to find turtles: indeed, amazing turtles live and feed just in front of Abu Dabbab beach and there's no need to have a guide to find them; you can just follow the numerous divers and people snorkeling around and pointing towards them. The second visit is to the reef, which is extremely beautiful and rich. Also in this case the guide is completely useless, as the reef is easily accessible and starts directly from the beach. Our guide just rushed to let us complete the second tour in time, but we spent more than one hour resting between one visit and the other, basically wasting precious time which you could use to admire the natural beauty of this place on your own. On top of this: Marsa Waves ask for an extra fee of 15 euro per person for the entrance to the Abu Dabbab park (in addition to the price of the tour), which is higher than the fee requested by any other provider. When we asked for clarifications, they told that they would have investigated, now and after years of selling this product, why all other travelers pay less! Quite unprofessional.

Thank you so much Anna for taking time to share your experiences with us, We would like to tell you that there is always a need for a diving guide, in order to ensure your safety first in the event that the waves are high, or in the case of muscle tension, or any emergency situation. Also, in some cases, turtles are not close to the shore, and the guides know where to find them, so we need a guide. Regarding the cost of 15 euros, it is an entrance fee to Abu Dabbab Beach, which is collected upon entry in order to obtain an entry ticket. Wir haben zwar zwei Schildkröten gesehen, aber es waren so viele Menschen die sich auf die Schildkröte gestürzt haben, dass man das gar nicht genießen konnte. Ausserdem hat der Guide uns immer zu den Schildkröten geschuckt (Menschenmenge).. Dadurch dass es auch sehr Windig war, war das gar nicht so schön….
