This was one of the best tours I've been on, if not the best! The guide was so knowledgeable and extremely patient with me as I knew very little Portuguese. Even with the language barrier, I gained so much from every part of the tour. The lunch was the cherry on top! I loved this tour so much, I plan to return with friends and an interpreter :-)
Esse passeio foi a experiência mais significativa e agradável que eu tive em Alagoas. Claro que todo mundo gosta de praias lindas, mas nada supera o prazer de ouvir uma história do povo preto de revolução, de matriarcado, de resistência e de liberdade, que não aprendemos verdadeiramente na escola.
Começando pela guia Alessandra que passou informações valiosas no ônibus desde obras que honram o Quilombo em Maceió, seguindo pelo contato com o artesanato quilombola local em barro, e chegando com uma trajetória histórica até o Parque Memorial Quilombo dos Palmares, onde Mano Gil, guia capoeirista e quilombola maravilhoso, dividiu seus conhecimentos com a gente. Tive que interromper o passeio, mas com certeza eu vou voltar!!
Garantam que o passeio continue existindo, reservem um dia da viagem para a história!!
Dicas:
1- Recomendo o uso de tênis com o melhor antiderrapante que conseguir, e não seja pego de surpresa pelo clima, pegamos chuva, neblina e sol em questão de minutos no Quilombo.
2- Não deixe de provar o energético quilombola!!
