A beautiful calm and relaxing cruise along the the river. Welcoming crew and knowledgeable information about the river and surrounding areas. Beautiful wildlife along the way. Fantastic dinner with wonderful entertainment.

Great experience
Very relaxing cruise with a fantastic sunset!
Meal was wonderful and a really cute setting for dinner
The hosts are so friendly and welcoming both on the cruise and at the campfire dinner. The food was delicious campfire cooked and yummy damper with Billy tea. Drew Blundell was the entertainment and what a great voice he has as well as funny jokes. Do yourself a favour DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS.
The whole evening was above our expectations. Frome pick up, by Mick, to drop off it was really good. During the drive around town he gave us a commentary about the town. Dinner was really good, not the standard "function" food. Drew Blundell entertained and was sensational. Overall, really worth it.

Very relaxing,in formative and entertaining experience! Cruise on the Thompson River was spectacular, the boat had a ramp to the upper deck, great for when you are carrying drinks back to your seat (no stairs)! Would Highly Recommend this trip 👍😃 Fantastic staff and Set up
I have a mobility issue and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and able to participate in the experience.
The whole experience was amazing, from the bus trip, the boat cruise and the dining. The evening was a highlight in our trip. Highly recommend it.

Great tour …. Very educational…. Stunning outlook on the Thomson River. Camp oven dinner was delicious. This is a must do in Longreach.
A must to do whilst in Longreach. Well worth the cost. Meal and entertainment were first rate highly recommended

Meal was not worth the cost with small serve of protein and poor quality of veg which was mostly carrots.

Fantastic! Highly recommend. Great tour down the Thompson River with a sneaky glass of wine accompanied with a little pre dinner snack. Then a short stop to take picture moments of the beautiful sunset. Then on to Smithys for a beautiful dinner and entertainment by Corinne, shared with new friends made at our table. Fantastic, friendly staff. Was a great night, highly recommended!

Fabulous dinner cruise with the bonus of a amazing sunset added. Loved the BBQ experience and the food served was delicious the entertainment was great it would appeal to every age group.
Convenience of the pick up service was great!
We sat up top on the boat and had terrific views of both sides. Enjoyed a few drinks and nibbles on board. Watched the sunset , saw loads of birds and turtles in the water. The show was awesome and the food was delicious . Absolutely perfect outback setting with twinkling lights in the trees lots of laughs and a good old sing along

Our river cruise was cancelled because of rain but were offered the silver bullet train trip with drovers dinner the following night.

Excellent tour. Well organised with everything promised being achieved. Experienced boat captain gave many unknown facts about the river. Dinner for the large group was well planned and excellent. The entertainment was Drew Blundell who performed at his best.

Was a magical experience. The serenity of the river the history how everything was explained. Then to walk into such an amazing arena to delicious food and brilliant entertainment was a night to remember forever.
The cruise was great, cheese and bikkies a surprise. The meal was good, thought the dessert could have been a bit larger. Damper was lovely. Great night all round.
The boat cruise was very relaxing and the commentary informative. The setting was really pretty, the fires well placed, meal delicious and the show first class.

Beautiful cruise along the Thompson River our skipper shared interesting facts & stories plus we pulled up along the way to closer observe wildlife & Aboriginal heritage sites. Smithy’s has a wonderful atmosphere -good food & local entertainment -even the luxury coach picks you up and drops you at accommodation!
