The actual trip experience was good but unfortunately the site description is out of kilter with what you expect to get when you get there. Bought and paid for what’s in the title but when I gave my QR code to be swiped the lady said that wasn’t what I’d paid for , she Said I’d paid for something else . Showed her the email and she said “oh I know we have this all the time, people think they’ve booked one thing and it’s another “! Ended up paying again as didn’t want to disappoint my son who had been really looking forward to the hr long Llandudno trip on the open too
Bus . So basically paid £33 (£14 original bkg and £19 2nd bkg) to use the open top bus twice !!

On the day we ran out of time so asked if we could delay the tour for another date. This was allowed with no problem and with a smile!

The activity is a good introduction to the area. We took both the blue and red routes and the commentary was informative. We took the buses later in the day so we did not have time to get off and explore any of the stops.

Service was cancelled on the day without any notification and I waited for an hour an half at a designated stop on the route with no bus ever appearing. I finally confirmed the cancellation with the local tourist information bureau who happened to know that this was the case and have requested a refund which has not yet been actioned. Badly organised service. Use at your own risk.

Fabulous way to see The Great Orme, visit the mines,view this pretty little town. Suggest buying both red and blue routes so you can see Conwy as well

Learning about the pastel colours of the buildings on Lundudno seafront and where the name Alice came from for Alice in wonderland. The audio was very clear and provided lots of information and the driver was very helpful and polite.

Although I purchased the tickets using my mobile, I still had to walk to the Pier to have them printed off as the mobile ticket wasn't actually valid until printed. so we unfortunately wasn't able to get on the bus at stop 2 where our accommodation was. Luckily I was fit enough to do the walk while I left my wife perched on a bench. We still enjoyed the bus trip though.

I booked this hop on bus for my parents who were staying in Llandudno at the weekend. It was easy to book the tickets online but as soon as I did it said they MUST be printed out and handed to the driver and there was no option of using the phone for the ticket. They did not have any access to a printer and worried they would miss the 10 stop tour departing at 9:30am (which stated on the ticket)
When they arrived at the ticket office the driver was able to scan the barcode from the phone so all the worry could have been avoided massively if this was explained when purchasing the ticket.
Not only that they were then told that the roads are closed for the weekend festival and will only be going to 1 stop (the castle) and back so not exactly a tour of Llandudno.
The only thing that made the journey better was the driver and the staff at the bus who were very helpful.
My parents would have saved themselves £26 by purchasing a normal bus ticket to the castle

Really good bus tour. Kept my teenager engaged the whole trip. Watch out for trees on the top deck my partner got hit in the face by one. Couldn't hear the tape as it was windy up top deck. Apart from that good xx

We decided on a hop on hop off trip to save the driving, we booked in advance on line but wasn't really necessary, we sat on top because the weather was dry, it was very windy and cold so if the sun's not out make sure you wrap up. Very convenient way to get to Conwy for the castle, town and harbour. The taped talk was informative and it was a good way to see the area

unfortunately the weather was awful,rain and more rain so we did not get the full enjoyable experience, however it was an interesting tour,hope to do it again and take advantage of hop on hop off.
