This tour was the perfect way to see North Wales, both the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia and three beautiful castles. Our Driver and Tour Guide, Freddie, was exceptional, and the 9-hour tour flew by, largely due to his interesting and entertaining ongoing commentary, including history, facts, folklore, and more. It was a great tour and a great day, which I would highly recommend if you are in North Wales.

Fantastic value! The day was filled with a mix of short stops and longer ones for the castles. Phil (guide) was full of knowledge and fun facts. We had time to visit the tiny house, grab a coffee while in conwy at the castle. Great photo op and ice cream stop at snowdonia. Lots of time during the last castle stop for a sit down for eating/drinking and more shopping. Could not recommend enough! We have even forgiven Phil his Lancashire heritage 😉
We met the bus at 8.20 (it's the bus stop on the main street outside the station. Parked in the train station and only £3 for 12 hours! We made it back for roughly half 5! Didnt feel a long day but felt filled but not rushed with lots of things to see and experience.

This day was an overall brilliant experience and probably one of the most well organized tours i have participated in. The sights you will see on this trip are second to none and will leave you in wonder a long time after. Our guide, Phil, was amazing and kept us entertained with informative commentary and useful facts throughout the journey. He was also an excellent driver and knew all the places thoroughly. I would highly recommend travelling with them to experience Snowdonia and the Welsh Castles.

Freddie, our Tour Guide, was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Knowledgable, funny, respectful, encouraged and answered all questions, he KNEW about all of the mountains in Snowdonia as he climbed them all. Safe but effective drive and he kept up an interesting dialogue during the entire trip. HIGHLY recommend!

If you like scenery and castles. you are in luck. Snowdonia is beautiful. Our minibus was not great. The seats are very close together and there was no air conditioning so if the windows were open, you could not hear the guide talking and if they were closed, you were very, very, hot.

Freddy did an amazing job guiding us through this all-day tour. He was knowledgeable, courteous, funny, an excellent driver, and gave what we thought was just the right amount of time at each stop, all while enthusiastically explaining the area in a manner that kept your attention.
While we personally didn’t, if you have mobility issues, this tour may not be your proverbial cup of tea as there is a bit of a hike to one of the castle ruins.
Otherwise, two very happy thumbs up!

This is a full day tour. 8:30am departure with approx 5:30pm return to pick up location. It was fantastic!! Well planned and maximized to provide a thorough understanding of Welsh history, culture and stories. In between seeing the castles we stopped at a few lookout points, local points of interest and had to chance to explore 2 local towns. If you have one day to see the area, I highly HIGHLY recommend this tour. We wouldn’t have covered all of this on our own. The guide was engaging and had a real solid grasp of history and topics of intrigue. There will be points along the way to grab snacks/lunch/drinks. Probably no more than 8-10 in a group.

Guy was our guide today. We was knowledgeable and entertaining. He said this was one of his first tours and he did a great job. We enjoyed stopping at the castles, zip world (for lunch) and the many interesting other places we stopped along the way. It is a long day but it goes by very quickly. Highly recommend this company for the tour

Freddie was a fantastic guide, and we were given plenty of time to explore Conwy and Canaerfon on our own. The slate museum was closed for refurbishment, but we had a great alternative in lunching at Penrhyn Quarry.

Five stars for Freddy and Guy, our tour guides and drivers. Freddy is incredibly knowledgeable about all the locations we visited. Llandudno, or should I say, Northern Wales in general, is definitely a must-see destination! This tour is a must-do, as it takes you to places that can only be accessed by car. We had an amazing time on this trip! :)

The tour was well organized. I enjoyed the castle tours which when climbed on top, you'll have a fantastic view of the surrounding area. The stairs are steep and the treads are narrow, however, it adds to the challenge of aiming to the top to have a great view. Some of the passageways are also dark which adds to the thrill of what's to be discovered. The last castle we visited has a museum inside with a number of interesting display. I was very happy while seeing some of the display because I realized I learned a lot that day. Beforehand, Freddie, who was our tour guide had been giving much information about Wales since we hopped on the car. This was my first time in Wales so I was so attentive with what our tour guide was saying. Freddie by the way aside from being knowledgeable was so kind, concerned and helpful to every member of the tour group. Our group that day was a mix of young and old (2 children and an elderly couple involved).
While going to Snowdonia National Park, a lot of scenery can be seen along the way including water falls and lakes.
I also enjoyed our stay in Bethesda which is renowed for its slate industry.
We were also given time to wander around the town of Conwy and Caernarfon.
Overall, I am delighted with this tour. It would be one of my excursions I will never forget. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Our guide, Freddy, was terrific! His knowledge of the area was extensive, which made the tour very informative. The landscape was beautiful despite the wind and rain that day. I hope to go back someday and spend more time exploring the region, especially Snowdonia National Park. I highly recommend this tour!
