The tour guide was a very nice man & he said he had been doing the tour for 2 years. You could tell he was not a Beatle fan & had very little to say. Being the only 2 people in his taxi was a great & he took us to all the sights, but in the Viator description the tour guide was to tell us a story about the bldg. etc. When asked he knew nothing about that story. Soooo if you want to see the sights Abby Road, Apple records, Paul's house or any other sight this is a great tour, but don't count on the tour guide to give you much information about what you are seeing. He did take our photo as we walked the crosswalk at Abbey Road & he gave us plenty of time to shop at the Apple Record gift shop.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the Beatles and their childhoods. We learned so much! He was just our tour guide, he was also an entertainer and photographer, he made sure that at every stop we had a group picture. So many beautiful memories were made that day.

Great tour guide with interesting anecdotes and background on the early lives of the Beatles and the Liverpool area. Stopped for pictures at many former Beatle childhood homes and neighborhoods and an extended stop at the Strawberry Fields center for pictures, refreshments and souvenir shopping. Listened to select Beatles tunes that enhanced the narrative during a great trip down memory lane with two Baby Boomers onboard and provided a new perspective of the era for a teenage family member accompanying us.

Wow what a way to get the Beatles history. A great way to see the sights and learn the quirky facts told by a great chap. Very friendly and tailors the tour to what you want to see and do. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This was the highlight of our trip. I have taken a Beatles bus tour before, but this covered more ground, took you to more places, and gave way more insight. The guide was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Booking and communicating with Ian was very easy and he was extremely accommodating. He is a wealth of information and took us all over Liverpool showing us numerous sites supported with narration and backstories the entire way. We made several stops for photos and he enhances each with amplified information and historical photos he carries with him.. I highly recommend this fun and thorough tour with a guide who is a devoted Beatles fan and an appreciative musician. He will also answer questions about activities post tour.

The tour was very interesting and Ian answered all of our questions and provided us with a real sense of the Beatle’s life in Liverpool. This tour was one of the best we have been on. Don’t come to Liverpool without joining Ian in his immaculate yellow Beatles cab for a Beatles history tour.
We enjoyed every minute with up close stops and a wealth of history and wonderful anecdotes.
This tour was certainly the highlight of our weekend and if we visit Liverpool again Ian’s Cab Tour will be back at the top of our list.

We were a bit disappointed when we weren't picked up by Ian in his decorated taxi, but we had great afternoon with Gareth. Even the rain couldn't put a dampener on the tour.
We really enjoyed hearing more about the Beatles early lives and seeing sites connected with them.

Ian picked us up as scheduled and took us on a fact-filled tour of all things Beatles in Liverpool. We saw the boyhood homes of John, Paul, George and Ringo. Lyrics of Beatles songs came to life as Ian showed us what likely inspired them. Ian definitely knows his Beatles! It was a fun way to spend our afternoon and see some of the city, too!

Great info about the Beatles, but you don’t go to the Cavern Club. Guide is great. See all the Beatle homes.
