Helen was a brilliant guide. Really knowledgeable, helpful and clearly has great passion for her city. Even our teens (14 & 15) thought it was a great tour. Helen covered all the highlights and included some really interesting anecdotes. Helen’s tour commentary was pitched perfectly and was the right length to hold everyone’s attention. We learnt so much and we would definitely recommend this tour.

This is a group tour, but I was lucky to be the only traveller that day, so ended up having a private tour, which allowed me to learn and see even more of lovely Liverpool. Patrick, my guide, was extremely fun and knows so much about the history of his hometown. He also knows a lot about the Beatles and you can see how much he is passionate about everything related to them. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was adequate but far from great. We learned a fair amount about the history of Liverpool and the Beatles. And we saw most of the key sites -- Mathew Street and the Cavern Club in particular.
However, the guide had a lot more to say than to show. So we spent an inordinate amount of time standing and listening vs walking and seeing. About 30 minutes was spent walking through a temporary exhibit at the Museum of Liverpool on John and Yoko. I wondered how he spends that time when the exhibit ends (next month). He was nice and knowledgeable on the history of Liverpool and the Beatles. Although he was obviously a bit of a "cheer leader" for both, and as seems to be the trend these days, traded on some "fake news." For example - Sgt Peppers may be the greatest, most important rock album of all time (a matter of opinion), but it is NOT the greatest SELLING album of all time (a matter of fact), which our guide would have you believe.
We were glad we went, but versus other walking tours we've taken in the UK and elsewhere, this one was below average.

We had a great guide who took the time to explain in great detail each stop along the tour. It was great to see the John & Yoko exhibition at the museum, but it would've been good to spend a bit longer there.

Great tour, very informative not only with regard to the history of the Beatles but also an informative tour of the main sites in Liverpool. Done with humour and extensive knowledge, if you want to combine a tour embracing the Beatles history and also a bit of culture and local knowledge there cannot be any better tour than this.

We took this tour the day of the fan celebration for Liverpool's big Cup victory in Madrid. Patrick was a touch late, because he had to sub in for a "sick" co-worker. But the startup angst was soon forgotten as the tour got underway. Patrick provided lots of information and plenty of humour. Terrific tour!
