Best for travellers who want a quick overview on the Tamar river during daytime. There will also be discounts on designated restaurants nearby by showing the cruise ticket.

Make sure you check which port to board from as there are multiple docks near the waiting area. Staff were very friendly and the captain filled with historical facts about the area.
Response from Host, Nov 2025

Happy to see your time with us was an enjoyable one

It was ok. Certainly the Captain told us lots of facts. It could be improved by the Captain explaining the Aboriginal influence and presence and about any rare species living in the Gorge. And the check on staff could smile more.
Response from Host, May 2023
Thank you for your review.
We have been attempting to source the indigenous history for a while now, this is a lengthy process as to make sure it is accurate.

Walked it and saw more than on the boat trip, guides were good. If you walk it you get further up the gorge and see the basin which is the most dramatic part of the gorge.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Unfortunate you didn't enjoy your time with us. Yes, we travel a different part of the Cataract Gorge showcasing where it was founded and how the name was originated. Very different perspectives, both stunning in our opinion but thank you for your review.

Able to go on the upper deck for a better view, it was a bit deceiving as the tea they offer is just muffins & cookies.

The first thing that I have to mention is that our plane from Melbourne was one hour late. I contacted the tour company and informed them that I was going to miss my tour. They immediately said no problem we will book you on the later tour and if necessary tomorrow morning. The trip it self was just as it was advertised. The captain was very knowledgable. It was well worth taking.
