Fantastic little tour. You can bring coffee, water, as its hands free its so easy to glide along and take photos etc.
Aran the guide is very knowledgeable and gives great instructions.
The kayaks are super easy to navigate and paddle - very easy.
We didn't get the slightest bit wet, as you step into the kayak off a pontoon.
Tips - free parking in the park, then take the footbridge across to the pontoon. Wear a hat and sunscreen, its really exposed.
Otherwise, just sit back and relax and enjoy.

The kayak was easy to operate. Legs did get tired at the end but very calming and fun activity. I would recommend it.

Thus was great fun. Alan is a nice guy too. It was so nice and relaxing going down the gorge. I highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing and informative journey. Amazing weather, and a great vantage point on the foredeck. Captain Callum, and crew JJ and Jason, couldn’t have been better. The section of the cruise through the gorge was a highlight.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pedal kayaks - great way to view the Cataract gorge as well as Launceston riverfront. Aaron was a delightful guide, he was kind enough to reschedule our tour due to unsuitable weather conditions - highly recommend this activity if you are in Launceston.

What a great way to explore Launceston's waterways.
Paddling was easy, just like riding a bike on level ground.
Our guide was very informative and we learned a lot about Launceston's history.
I would recommend this experience to everyone.

Great way to start the day with a kayak on the river. Was a fantastic way to experience Cataract Gorge. Shared the river with some gulls, swans, ducks, a heron and a fur seal. Would recommend and no prior experience needed.

Well organised. A really laid back and enjoyable way to see the waterfront. The foot paddle kayaks were super easy to use. Tour guide Aron was lovely and let you explore.

Very good ; informative and caring ; explain history; risks ; making sure he was nearby within reachable distances;
Took us where boats couldn’t go ; because of low bridges.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the buildings and history of the local area. The scenery was beautiful and the kayaks were easy to operate.

We thought the tour was going to last 1h30mins on the River with impressive scenic views. Actually, it was a very short trip from the Fishnchips pontoon to the river back and forth and the guide did not give a lot of explanations and stories around the River.
We don't recommend this trip to discover the River, you should just do the easy 30mins hike to the free swimming pool to see more of the river.

The 6:30 morning canoe tour was the perfect way to start the day. So peaceful and out of this world! 10/10!

The guide was brilliant and we had plenty of time to gwt a good look at the gorge. It also helped that the weather was pretty much perfect

Definitely the highlight of my trip, can't recommend this enough. Aran is a great guide, really friendly and relaxed. The scenery is incredible and the pedal boats are a lot of fun. Great value for money also.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The tour covered some great scenic views of the Tamar River all the way to the edge of the Cataract Gorge. Our guide was very helpful and friendly and generous in his sharings along our ride. We were never rushed and were able to truly enjoy this nice serene tour.

Great fun and very scenic during good weather. The canoes were easy to operate, though a bit of a workout. Our guide Aaron was friendly and very helpful. Definitely a fun activity to do in Launceston.

A superb experience. Gliding along the rivers learning about the natural habitat and snippets of Launceston's history as we went. A wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon. There were three generations of us kayaking with Aran and he catered for all our needs - me with a knee replacement, my inquisitive grandson asking a multitude of questions. We were quite energised by the whole experience and paddling into the gorge was amazing. This is a must-do for all ages. Thank you Aran and team!
