Visit several islands off the coast of Krabi, and experience snorkeling, sunset, and bioluminescence with this afternoon and evening boat tour.
Get picked up from your Krabi or Ao Nang hotel in the afternoon and head to the pier to board your boat. The first stop is Ko Ya Wa Sam, where you can snorkel with the provided gear. Next, relax at Poda Island while enjoying the views, or swim or snorkel in the water. Swim and snorkel at Ko Ma Tang Ming and enjoy the views at Chicken Island. At Thale Waek, walk along the sand bar connecting Chicken Island.
Afterwards, savor dinner on the beach while watching the sunset. The last stop on the boat tour will be at Koh Daeng to view the bioluminescence light up the water. Your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel.

Disappointed in tour. Only had 10 minutes at bioluminescent snorkeling. The description of your makes it sound like you get a good amount of time.

The island tour was nice and well organised but please don’t book this trip as we did purely for the bioluminescent part. It was literally a bucket of water in the boat not the beach setting as the photo would suggest

We had a great day going to different islands. I would recommend rock shoes for climbing the ladder in and out of the boat. Only 2 issues I have were the BBQ dinner was not a BBQ (deep fried chicken pieces, rice and chicken curry) and unless you get in the water you will not see the hi-light of the tour the Bioluminescence.

Great value for money. Some beaches were a bit crowded, but the tour was well organised. Nice food and highlight was sunset at the beach. For bio plankton I recommend jumping into the water when boat stops to swim as that’s when you can see so many of them!

I was so excited to do this long boat trip and was left feeling extremely disappointed.
While checking in we were told that we would have to change tours as they said my husband was too tall for the long boat...disappointment number 1...
When we got to the pier for boarding, we had to wait for an hour without any explanation as to what the delay was.
When we finally got on, we were told that there had been an issue with the speed boat engine so we lost an hour of the tour...disappointment number 2
Because of this, our time at each spot was reduced by a significant amount to keep on track...disappointment number 3.
The bioluminescence swimming was a joke, noone was willing to get in deep water in the pitch black.
I would not recommend this tour to anyone. We were not given any apology for the delay, for reduced time at each spot or offered any sort of refund for losing so much time.
Do yourself a favor and go with a different company.

Did not effectively communicate when pick up time was. It was an afternoon trip starting at 2pm. Everything said 2pm, the email, the ticket, the excursion. Went to get a bite to eat at noon, they came to get us at 1230. We had just gotten food and had nothing with us, so they left without us. Im sure the excursion was great but the communication was horrible. Have yet to receive a refund as we did not go on the excursion.

This was truly like several tours in one. I'm glad I didn't also book an island tour because it's pretty much the same thing. You go to chicken island, poda island and the one you can walk between islands through shallow water. There was also snorkeling in several different locations. The fish were beautiful, and we even found Nemo and some live coral. If you get sea sick like me, be prepared for like 3 hours of either being on the boat or in the water off shore in a row. It was a little much, but so beautiful it was worth getting a little sick.
I recommend bringing snacks as they don't feed you until about 6:00. The food was really good.
The bioluminescent plankton were there, but you need to manage your expectations. It isn't like the pictures, but there's enough to have a great time. It's fun to see them.
The staff were super friendly and helpful!

Great boat trip - possibly the best one we did, but plankton were disappointing :(
Also you have to swim in open water but can't pick up the light on go pro ie I didn't think it was worth it.

This was a great tour! The hotel pickup was super helpful. We loved our guide and were able to see a lot. We loved the stops and time to enjoy the islands, swimming, snorkeling, dinner, sunset, and bioluminescent. Our guide was super fun and added to our enjoyment.

We’ve tried both speedboat and long tail boat, but we preferred the long tail boat more. It brought us closer to nature, and it was airy. We were lucky with the weather and got to snorkel for over 2.5 hours. Towards the end of the trip, we had a short round of evening snorkeling and got to see some bioluminescent plankton. The guide was clear, spoke good English, and kept to the schedule. I would definitely do it again.

This tour was the highlight experience of my 2 weeks in Thailand! My flight arrived late at the airport, I immediately grabbed a taxi and headed to my hotel. The tour had already come to pick me up and I had missed them. The front desk called and woman on the phone ( who was the only person on my entire trip that I did not find warm and fuzzy) informed me that the boat was leaving in 10 minutes, my hotel was 25 minutes away and they would not wait for me so don't come. She did not realize who she was talking to, I am a die hard and do not give up that easily. Realizing that many tours get started late I had my taxi driver proceed to the pier. Unfortunately, the boat had in fact already left. The workers at Miriam Tours were so caring and concerned. They were trying to figure out what they could do. They put me back on the phone with the woman from before who scolded me saying " I told you not to come". After hanging up with her, I asked the woman on site, was they anything I could do. Could I get a boat to take me out to meet them? She said she could book me a private boat to do my own tour that would be identical and I felt the rate was very reasonable considering the circumstances. From that moment forward I was treated like a queen. The young man transported me to the pier and I immediately boarded my own private long boat with a skipper named BeBe. He took such amazing care of me and was incredibly kind. We toured past a few islands and then met up where the other boat was. He suited me up with a life preserver and in I went snorkeling. So many fish, so many beautiful kinds of fish! It was amazing!!! Then off to another island for exploring and another island for more snorkeling, then to Railay beach to meet with the others for a delicious dinner. The best part was the night snorkeling after dinner. The Bio Luminescent swimming was outstanding!!! Thank you Miriam tours and thank you BeBe for such amazing experience that I could have missed.

This is definitely an activity to do if it’s your first time in Thailand. Apart from the pick up being late everything else was spot on. As it is the off season the beaches weren’t crowded and it was a good experience.

This tour was a little disappointing. The island hopping was nice but it had rained that morning so the waves were choppy. This activity had advertised a beach bbq but it ended up being a catered dinner at a resort. Food had bbq flavor but we didnt bbq on the beach. However, there was plenty of vegan and vegetarian food to accomodate our diets. It poured a crazy storm after dinner. We thought we would be swimming with the bioluminescent plankton on the beach but instead we only got to see it when it was dumped from a bucket into out boat, nothing like the photo. we understand that weather prob played a part in our experience but we do feel like maybe the description should be updated so our expectatiobs werent so high.

Last minute trip turned out to be rather disappointing. Snorkelling wasn't great and even though the boat stopped at a few different sites it was all very much the same. Coral was dead and only an abundance of tiger fish seemed to be in the area. The snorkels provided were also poor quality. The one I had leaked badly which made snorkelling almost impossible. Would recommend you take your own. Plankton was also nothing like the pictures in the advertisement, which was a let down and appears to be false advertising. Instead it was just really small flickers of light when you waved your hands around in the water. This was for only 10 minutes at the end of the trip
BBQ was extremely poor quality and not very nice at all
Also the longboat we were onboard broke down a total of 4 (steering shaft kept popping out). Seemed a long standing issue as the crew knew how to fix the problem almost straight away

An experience which delivered the bioluminescence, but which was disappointing otherwise.
Tour left too early, spent far too much time at intermediate locations that were underwhelming in their beauty (compared with other nearby locations) and was poorly timed to hit the same spots as many other tour groups, making for an experience that felt cookie-cutter. The tour guide was nice enough, but only at the very end did she tell us that we would only get 5 minutes in the water with the bioluminescent plankton — the entire reason for us taking the tour in the firstp lace.
So what we got in the end was 6 hours of middling intermediate stops, with very long transfers inbetween, stuffed on a longtail boat that was rickety and extremely loud (even by longtail boat standards) which left us plugging our ears for long stretches of time, so as not to suffer temporary hearing loss.
Verdict: 85% of the tour was disappointing, for reasons above. The 15% which delivered on promise, did deliver, and rather spectacularly — but only for about 5 minutes.
We could have saved an entire day by hiring a boat at 7pm to do only what we wanted, and skipped the rest.

The experience is awesome, especially night swimming. But I got picked up by a different company than stated on the confirmation, and the guide also said different name of the tour, so I almost missed it because of the misscomunication. Local name of this tour is 7 islands sunset tour

It was a bit disorganized (for boarding and going back to our hotels), but over all was a nice trip and the staff was very kind and helpful. We had a storm (that they knew would happen) and we still went - so we all ended up drenched - our stuff and bags too because to boat didnt had windows/walls (only a cheap roof). We were cold for the rest of the night. We had no fire show on the beach. This isnt a bbq either, but the food was good still. We did see the planktons very well because the clouds were covering the moon.

This description doesn’t quite give this your justice. The reviews are mixed and we took a chance. Our group only has good things to say. They pick you up and drop you off at your resort, the meal was on par with the other restaurants, and the sites were unimaginably amazing. I would recommend this tour to friends.

Unfortunately it poured down rain this entire day which negatively impacted our experience. But the crew made the most of it. They served us really good food, took pictures for us, and kept things fun. I advise bringing bug repellent.

I would have given a 4 but I did not appreciate the logistics of the dinner. Food is served right when the sunset is happening (I guess it only slightly depends on month at this latitudes), being into photography I prefer to be free to roam on the beach at that time. I understand later on it may become too dark so maybe dinner could be served earlier.
Plancton is nothing like the picture but yet interesting to see and to experience. Fire show was quite entertaining as well.
All in all I am glad I did the tour, price is also good.

Es una verdadera tomadura de pelo. Yo recomendaría a Viator que se informe con quien subcontrata los tours en el lugar de destino porque, al menos yo, no volveré a confiar en Viator.
Me explico, primero te dicen que te van a recoger a una determinada hora...falso. te recogen cuando a ellos les viene bien y te hacen perder el tiempo de una manera asombrosa. Pero vamos que te tienen sentado en una silla de un chiringuito de mala muerte casi una hora con la excusa de recoger unas gafas de bucear....alucinante!!!!Segundo te dicen que la cena será una.barbacoa en la playa...falso. la cena fue en un merendero lamentable, tipo buffet, miserable , escaso, malo y sin bebida. No sé podía repetir, te servían ellos una ración que ni en el peor comedor de algún colegio, antipáticos hasta decir basta y la ración que te ponían era para un niño de tres años. Por lo que después de terminar la "actividad" nos tuvimos que ir a cenar a un restaurante. Tercero, supuestamente te llevan a bañarte para ver el agua luminiscente...falso. te sueltan 6 minutos de reloj en un agua que de luminiscente no tiene nada. Nosotros ya hicimos en su día está actividad en Jamaica y allí si que era luminiscente....esto es insultante para el viajero.

Leider war das Plankton eine richtige Enttäuschung. Man hat es zwar gesehen aber nur ganz wenig. Die fahr war sehr stürmisch und ungemütlich. Das BBQ war leider auch nur ein kaltes Buffet. Die Buchten, wo man zum Schnorcheln angehalten hat waren viel zu überfüllt. Der Guide war aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
