Overview
Enjoy the freedom of paddling out onto the River Derwent on a canoe. Spend the morning learning about proper canoeing skills, and then in the afternoon strike out in a group on the water. Gain confidence as you travel over the river and onto Derwentwater, hearing stories about the local area and the people who live and have lived there over the centuries. Get close to nature and enjoy some restful exercise.
