This was a great tour. Our guide Sandra was very knowledgeable, and the visit to the home in the water village was wonderful. We saw lots of proboscis monkeys and fireflies. It was a lovely evening on the water, seeing Bandar Seri Begawan at night is beautiful. The boat operator was highly competent and helpful. A really enjoyable outing.

It was a very fun tour. The guide told us a lot about the history of the Brunei and the water village, and answered a lot of our questions about the culture. We also got to see some cute proboscis monkeys and fireflies.

Overall a great tour, highly recommend if you are traveling to Brunei! We saw tons of animals - 5+ colonies of Proboscis monkeys, several crocodiles, water birds, an eagle, and fireflies. Along the way our guide gave us tons of great local history and stories. Both the boat driver and guide were really attentive to making sure we got good views of all the wild life. We also saw a beautiful sunset and got a tour of the water village complete with visiting a home and getting to taste some local snacks. Amazing hospitality and a great experience!

Enjoyable evening boat ride to see proboscis monkeys and fireflies. Plus visit to the water village was a special treat. Recommend combining this tour with the city cultural tour to get a full scope of Brunei.

Going on a tour from the Water Village to the mangrove forest creates a good impression of how culture, modernity, and nature are blending well in this country. We were lucky to spot several groups of proboscis monkeys and other monkeys in the forest as well as egrets, an eagle, and a crocodile. Although, we did not find fireflies in the night, due to the weather, we appreciate how our guide, Fendy, and our boatmen really tried to find some despite the totally understandable situation.

A fun, comprehensive and exciting experience! From the start, our guide was punctual, friendly and really knowledgeable. Once we got to the jetty, we met with the boat driver who was also really friendly, and we started our trip passing through the water village. We got to see tens of monkeys, in a truly relaxing environment, and always feeling safe. Later on when the evening came we also saw the fireflies! We thought that was the end of the tour, but they also brought us to a water village house to see how they live, and taste amazing desserts from Brunei. Completely recommendable, amazing people, and perfect tour :)

Interesting and without having to worry about anything. Fany was a great guide. I paid to do it privately but it wasn't because there were more people on the boat.
