Amazing day trip with our incredible guide Bryan. We saw a beautiful botanical gardens and went on an invigorating hike to see an incredible waterfall. Hiking to the falls, we passes farm fields, rice paddies, animals, and locals busy at work. A perfect day in nature away from urban Jakarta. The hike is vigorous. Wear water-safe shoes. You will get wet, muddy and sweaty.

Great and beautiful experience with good local cultural interaction. Fajar was out guide and did a great job as did the personal driver for the day. The lunch was authentic and fantastic. A change of clothes is not really needed but some type of water shoes to change from a hiking shoe is recommended as you cross the shin deep river three times each way.

The prop is very interesting re being in nature both wild and cultivated. People should know they need a certain level of fitness to walk up the river bed. It was well worth it. The guide Tio was very personable and knowledgeable guide and Aji a skilled and patient driver.

This was a day of walking, seeing Java’s fantastic vegetation, spending a day in nature with a knowledgeable and welcoming guide. I’m so pleased that Bryan was my guide. I came away feeling that I had spent a day with a friend. My favorite activities are walking in streams, learning about a country, eating good food, and being far from touristy attractions. This tour gave me all that and a chance to see neighborhoods far from Jakarta proper.

Our guide Bryan was outstanding. The day was really fantastic. We enjoyed Bogor Botanical Garden. The best part of the tour was however the trekking in the national park. So beautiful! The guide and the park ranger were extremely helpful. Highly recommended

Brian was the perfect guide. He taught me a lot about all kind of fruits and plants and he was very friendly and helpful. Especially the trip through the ricefields and along the river until the waterfall was beautyful. You need a bit of condition and no fear of water. The botanical garden was only an hour and you could see special high trees from Indonesië, it was more a park to me. The palace you could only see from outside and to me not impressing. You should choose this tour if you like walking and being in nature and close to water, not for cultural side and if you want to escape from Jakarta city. I have very much enjoyed this trip with Brian. Terima kasih to Brian😊🙏

We enjoyed this tour. Our favorite parts were the waterfall and gardens. Brian has perfect English and did a great job of explaining everything. Mr. Gun, our driver amazed us with his skill in challenging driving conditions. Both ensured we were on schedule and got back to our cruise ship in plenty of time before departure.

Great tour today! Rizky was our guide. He was informative as well as personable. We discussed everything from Indonesia's role in WWII to flora in the Botanical Gardens. (He identified unique specimens for us as well as appraising us of practical uses of the plants.) We particularly enjoyed the waterfalls part of the tour. Just beautiful! We ate lunch at a local restaurant where Rizky introduced us to a variety of delicious Indonesian cuisine. We would be remiss not to mention the skills of our driver. The ride, itself, was an adventure!

Tour well worth taking if you have the time. Bryan the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we covered a lot of territory. Driver was also excellent both on the highway and back roads. Waterfall and lunch at lovely restaurant in Bogor highlights for me. Botanic gardens also amazing though and enjoyed the rice fields.

Brian, our tour guide was wonderful. We enjoyed the botanical garden very much and learning about the rice fields. The wet market was not a pleasant experience.
Thomas was a great guide who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable experience and taught us more about the rice planting cultures and sights in Jakarta & Bogor! Would recommend this tour to others :)

Very good tour
I booked knowing I was to arrive in Jakarta at midnight and would want to get out of the city on my first day and see the countryside.
It was very nice to receive a confirmation directly from my guide, Ritzy, before I even arrived. Ritzy and the driver, Parno, were perfect for my jet-lagged self: chatting when I was up for it and letting me doze undisturbed when I wasn’t. Ritzy’s English is quite good - we were able to have good conversations in addition to him sharing information about the tour and surrounding area and culture.
One reason I chose this tour is because it’s not too long: seven am pickup and back at my hotel by three in the afternoon
Stopped at a fruit stand, a rice field, waterfall walk, botanical garden, Buddhist temple, etc. The traditional Indonesian lunch was fabulous.
The road is sometimes an expressway, but you’ll also spend time on small roads through villages in the hill country. If you’re not accustomed to driving on small roads in Asia, and sharing the roads with all manner of vehicles, you’re in for a surprise.

I loved my tour! The scenery is stunning and I had no idea the botanical garden would be as big as it was. They took me deep into Java and safely showed me parts of the country that a westerner like me would never have seen otherwise. My tour guide, Benn, was very knowledgeable about the history of Java and answered all of the questions I had about Indonesia and it's history. His English is very good and he had a terrific sense of humor. He also took me to an beautiful lunch spot where I had the best fried rice I've eaten in Indo. I have a much better sense of what life is like for the Javanese people thanks to this tour. Our driver, Barno, was a master at navigating the streets in Jakarta and the not-so-great streets in the rural mountain areas.
Be prepared for a lot of walking. The hike to the waterfalls is a legitimate hike up steep hills and rocks, so be ready to move and get sweaty and wet, and wear good shoes/boots. You will be happy you joined!

Our English speaking guide Risky, was so good to answer all of our questions and adjust the schedule to fit our needs. And our driver had nerves of steel!!! It was great to get out of the crowded City!

Tour Guide Thomas is a joy to be with. Speak great English and engaged with us thoughout the tour and provided us alot of knowledge and history of Indonesia. Love the visit to the rice field where Thomas also shared how the farmers there do their farming and all. Great tour to go with!

The visit to the botanical gardens was nice. Guide was very knowledgeable of indonesian history. Learned a lot.
The four of us had a wonderful experience. Nanda was a great guide, and our driver took the time to pull over when we mentioned wanting to see/photograph something. We so enjoyed seeing the lush countryside after a few days in Jakarta. Lunch was delicious and the botanic garden so beautiful. Recommended!
