Great way to see Jakarta highlights. Visited the mosque, the third largest in the world. Went to old town, Chinatown and had lunch at Café Batavia overlooking the historic old town Square. Our guide Ine was super knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend her.

I booked this private tour for our group of 4 through Viator but I communicated directly with the provider, Milo Ferdian, on WhatsApp and his responsiveness was outstanding.
The itinerary was fine but also repeated a number of the types of stops we have already enjoyed during our numerous Asia shore excursions: a visit to the Chinatown area and an old temple, a tuk tuk ride (this one was very bumpy).
The unique stops included a visit to a puppet showroom which included a nice descriptions of the products for sale. We had seen a number of Mosques earlier but this was the first time we went inside at Istiqlal. It was a magnificent building and very much worth seeing. Also at the end of the tour we visited the old boat port; while the tour photos looked romantic for this place, there is absolutely no concessions to making the location tourist friendly.
We also stopped for some drinks and cake at Care Batavia and it was very lovely and inexpensive. I am sure of we were hungry, the meals would have been excellent there.
Really the best thing about the tour was our fabulous guide - Gindo. He provided extensive details for everything we saw throughout the day and has a great personality. We also have a lovely driver, Mr. Ihsan. So while out Jakarta visit was not quite as fresh and standout as our earlier cruise stops, it was still very enjoyable on the strength of our guide and driver.

Ditch the stress when you book this tour. Let your driver deal with the crazy traffic and the super knowledgeable guides show you the cool stuff in Jakarta. As a solo traveler, I felt super safe with my guide Haidar - he was like a buddy showing me around. We chatted about everything and anything, no topic was off-limits. It was a blast. Always awesome to learn more about the places you visit with a guide who's a total gentleman.

The schedule pick up time was very flexible. We started later due to late arrival. The operator was very accommodating. The guide, Ine, was knowledgeable of the city destination, and attentive to our every needs. The driver, Bayu, was a great driver, bringing us around without much trouble with the traffic. He knew the road junction traffic monitors very well, and they opened up the way for us to pass through easily. Overall, a good package for a quick tour of the city.

Had a great time with wonderful tour guide, Fitri!! I learned a great deal of Indonesia and Jakarta history and culture. This is a tour not to missed! The private tour was wonderful in covering a lot in short period of time without stress. Bravo to Friti and the driver!!
Only note is to check when the museums are closed if that is important to you. My tour was on a Monday and museums were closed... but know I will be back another time so didn't mind. There were plenty other things to cover so did not feel much was missed. Fyi.

This day started off challenging because of management but the guide and driver ensured I saw everything and had a great time. They listened to what I wanted to see and experience and made sure it happened. I wanted to try durian and they found me “the best” durian; this was snack I will never forget. I highly recommend the guide and driver; they are wonderful people.
