Awful and fraud company

Do not book this tour!!! Especially online. We discovered that the local price for the tour is 300 soles, while we were charged $300 CAD, which is approximately 3x the local price. This is an unacceptable markup and is clearly exploitation of foreign visitors. Other reasons this was an awful experience: Lack of Communication: There was no contact from the company prior to the trip, leaving us uncertain about the details and logistics of the tour. We had to reach out ourselves through WhatsApp. Misrepresentation of Tribe: We were led to believe that we would be visiting an authentic Amazonian tribe, but it turned out to be a fake tribe set up for tourists as we observed the tribe people wearing normal clothes the following day. This is not only misleading but also undermines the cultural integrity of the indigenous communities in the Amazon. Excessive Waiting and Disorganization: We experienced significant periods of waiting around (often for hours at a time) with no clear explanation or activities during the tour. This wasted valuable time and disrupted the overall flow of the experience. The overall organization of the tour was lacking, leading to confusion and frustration, and there was a general lack of coordination among the tour guides and staff. Poor Guiding: The guide took us through a construction area, which was not part of the advertised tour itinerary. Additionally, we spotted barely any wildlife, and the guide seemed to point out random things just to make up for the lack of sightings (he pointed out a shriveled black leaf that he said was a “night butterfly”. If you google this there is no such thing. Furthermore, the guide's English proficiency was limited, and he did not wait for us to start the morning tour, which he started at 4:50am when he said we would start at 5am. He couldn’t even wait the 5 minutes for us to get ready and left us. Missed Sanctuary Visit: We were disappointed to discover that we did not get to visit the sanctuary with the other group, as it was part of the tour itinerary. We requested and asked for a 50% refunded given all these reasons, specifically the discrepancy in price that we paid compared to the local price that other people in our group paid. This refund request was rejected by both the tour company and viator, but we were able to get a refund from our credit card company who disputed the charge. We are so grateful we got the refund in the end but wanted to write this review to protect other potential customers from the company’s dishonest practices.

We saw pink dolphins from real close, and huge lily pads on the Amazon river, caught piranha while fishing, saw a snake, tarantula, tiny black monkeys in the jungle, got to dance with indigenous community. The food was made from scratch and was delicious! We missed the sunrise as it rained that night and was cloudy, but otherwise it was a Great experience! Our 10 y/o enjoyed everything. The blue swimming pool at the lodge was not cleaned the day we were there, so she could not swim. It was very hot and humid and beware the mosquitoes. We did not choose to go on the night trek for this reason. You need rubber boots and ponchos for sure, as you never know when it will rain, especially in the rainy season, which ends in June. Also take lots of bug spray with you. 5 stars to the tour guide, Jimy. He was just great! And tour operator, Carlos took care of everything! Would highly recommend Jimy. He speaks English. They arrange separate guides for english and spanish speaking groups, which is great! Our tour group was just our family of 5.

Сначала забыли про меня в аэропорту, ждал 30 минут ответ в Ватсап. Потом ждал 2 часа в офисе. Организация самой поездки слабая . Мало что увидели, надо было просить. Просто выходы вокруг местного села. На обратном пути с другой группой задержались на 2 часа . Гид молодой умный парень !
