Itinerary

Meet your guide at Getúlio Vargas Street near Vila do Abraão port prior to an 11:30 a.m. departure. Climb aboard a schooner and head to the popular Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon) in the northern part of Ilha Grande, whose clear waters and bounty of fish make it a sought-after snorkeling destination; take a dip to see for yourself.

Then, continue to the quaint fishing village of Praia de Fora and the ecological sanctuary of Saco do Céu. Stop by the water to enjoy a Caipirinha, the national cocktail of Brazil made of Cachaça, before returning to your original departure point at Vila do Abraão port by roughly 4:30 p.m.

You will have 40-50 minutes to explore at each stop.

Party boat!

This was a lot of fun! They have a guy dressed as Jack Sparrow, a DJ and a saxophone player who is really good. The caipirinhas were flowing and we stopped a few times to swim in a lagoon with a ton of fish. There was also a good lunch available. I wish they had provided snorkeling gear but I appreciate that they provided a translator for us, a sweet young woman who stayed with us the whole day - and I wish I remembered her name because she was so awesome. But be forewarned that this is like going to a nightclub on a boat so if that’s not your thing you may not like it. I do have tosay that we had twice the fun at half the cost of the people on the cruise ship excursion!
