Very smooth transfer. they texted me the boat ticket the day before and there was a representative when we got to shore that introduced us to our driver. We were dropped to our hotel door. would definitely recommend and use them again.

I received details of my transfer and ticket for the boat journey over to Angra dos Reis by WhatsApp message which was straight forward. Upon arrival I was greeted by the rep who advised where the transfer bus was packed. Very modern, clean and comfortable vehicle. Stopped half way for a short break and the smooth journey then continued all the way to Rio where I was dropped off right outside my hotel. Excellent service.

Would not recommend. I book everything through Viator and am happy to pay bigger prices as it is usually good quality. I did this one because I needed to get back to Rio for a certain time and wanted it to be easy. This was one of my worst experiences. It was assigned to Paratay tours who were awful to deal with. They kept forgetting to send the ticket and I had to chase them for it the evening before. They then sent me a ticket with the wrong time, meaning I would have completely missed the boat. When I questioned it, they eventually resent the ticket with the new time written on top of the incorrect one. There were no instructions for what to do at the harbour. It was super busy and every other tour company had a representative shouting names for people. I could not find anyone from this company or find out how to get the boat. As I was about to burst into tears with the confusion and stress at missing my boat, a stranger took pity on me and brought me right to the front and helped me get on the boat as it was just about to leave. No one knew or cared that I was supposed to be on it. Thr tour company were not responding to my messages. Getting off the boat at the other side, the shuttle car was lovely, clean, new, and the driver was friendly. He was great. Paratay tours finally responded to me when i was back in rio at night. Instead of apologising for a bad job, the text me saying if I wanted a better experience I should have paid more money. (I was never given the option to even do this if I wanted).

You have changed the departure time yourself and we have accepted it even though it was outside the corresponding deadlines, and that is why the ship's schedule has been changed. We do not have a receptionist in Isla Grande as you requested, that information is very clear in all our sales channels, that is a service for private transfers and not regular shared ones, that was what we always tried to explain to you but unfortunately you were dazed and had no desire to obtain an explanation.
