Peter was our guide and he was excellent. His knowledge comes from his family living on the island 400 years. He made many stops explaining the topography of the land and how it was cultivated. The winery and tasting g was superb. My husband and I highly recommend this tour.

Petar was kind, knowledgeable and prompt. He is more introverted but very willing to answer questions. The wine tasting experience was amazing! Like being in the Pirates of the Caribbean. Sommelier was so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a very informative and nice day on our tour of Hvar. Our guide picked us up at the bus station next to the port and we shared the van with 2 other couples. We learned about the olive and lavender areas of the island and were brought to some beautiful views of the port and sea. We ended the time by stopping at a very nice winery where we tried 7 wines. Just a note to bring cash to,purchase any wine and olive oil at the winery. Both were very good.

Our tour guide was Luca. We had a wonderful time, and it's tough to say which part was our favorite. He took us to the old Napoleon fort where the views were the best of our trip, but then we also went to a small Winery and had an extraordinary time. I highly recommend both Luca and this tour

Our guide Peter has lived in Hvar almost his whole life and I learned a lots of stuff from islands life and history. Wine tasting was excellent. There was bread, 4 different olive oils and 10 different wines to taste if I rember correctly. Peter was very friendly and did his job with true passion.

This experience was excellent, Petar was a knowledge full guide and taught us about Hvar’s history as well as Croatia’s overall history. We learned about specific practices on the island dating back to Greek times, and saw incredible views. The wine tasting was also delightful, even though I’m not a wine guy. Would absolutely recommend!

Peter is an excellent tour guide who is completely knowledgeable about the area as his family has lived here for generations. He provides an immaculate, comfortable Mercedes van and is a very safe driver. The comprehensive tour with wonderful information and views culminates with an excellent wine tasting featuring top wines from the region. Do not miss this opportunity!

This was an incredible experience! Our guide, Luca, was so wonderful and knowledgeable about the island. He was easy to connect with, was personable, and so fun! The winery was perfect. Even though we went with friends, it was intimate, we tried more wines than expected, and were able to connect and ask as many questions as we wanted with our host. Heads up, the olive oil is for purchase but cash only! The wine can be shipped, but if you want olive oil, bring cash (you will want olive oil). This was perfect. You absolutely must book this tour!

I joined the Hvar Island Tour with Wine and Olive Oil Tasting and had a lovely time! Luka, our driver and guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared engaging stories about Hvar’s history and culture. Our small group of travelers—from Southern California, Atlanta, Chicago, and myself from Northern California—made for a warm and pleasant atmosphere throughout the day.
While I made the mistake of booking this tour right after doing the Wine Lovers Tour from Hvar the previous day (not realizing Duboković Winery and Napoleon Fort would be repeated), I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had hoped to visit a different winery, but Luka made the day feel fresh by taking a more scenic route back to Hvar Old Town, which was an unexpected highlight.
If you haven't already visited Duboković or done another wine tour, this one is definitely worth it. Beautiful views, great company, and excellent guidance from Luka made it a memorable outing.

Petar was our guide and no one else booked so we ended up having a private tour! It was wonderful! Petar was great communicating where and when to meet him. He brought us to beautiful sites and told us history of the land and answered all of our silly questions. Petar was a great driver and I felt very safe on the winding roads. He took great pictures of us with the view. Dubokovic wine was amazing! Our host was very knowledgeable, engaging and great company! We brought home wine and olive oil to share with our family & friends!

Petar drove us around to island, showing us the beauty of the space outside the towns and provided history and insights of the people of Hvar. It is a beautiful drive and well worth your time. We stopped at one winery for a tasting experience. The winemaker does a beautiful job with his wines and is generous with his time and pours. We really enjoyed his wines.

The best way to visit Hvar, whether just a day trip or staying on island. Very comfortable van, a remarkable amount of knowledge and history is shared with awesome scenic spots to stop for photos. Tour is topped off with wine and olive oil tasting. We are wine snobs and felt the wine was top shelf. If taking the ferry in, it is a short 5 minute walk to meet up. Really, we urge you to take this tour- & still have time for more!
