Josko was a fantastic skipper and guide! We opted in for the private tour because we wanted to maximize our time and have the flexibility to pivot as needed. Josko was great - he was flexible with our pick up and drop off times, and was able to pick us up in front of our hotel. Being from Hvar, he had fantastic insight into all the nooks and crannies around the islands. His deep family history was super interesting as well. He provided us great insights into the history of Croatia and the local area, which our group found very interesting. In addition to all that, he was super friendly and fun. It was a great way to spend a day, and would highly recommend.

Our day with Josko in Hvar was truly the best day ever! As a true local, he took our group of six girls to stunning hidden spots we never would have found on our own. His deep knowledge of the area, friendly personality, and flexible “go with the flow” approach made the experience unforgettable. We honestly can’t say enough good things—if you’re in Hvar, doing this boat day is an absolute must-book!

We loved our day on the boat! The water was somewhat rough but Jasko had a back up plan with some coves that were protected and absolutely stunning. He took us to the cutest little restaurant for lunch and we had the best meal. Josko was born and raised in Hvar so we loved hearing all his stories. I wish we could go again!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Jasko is a class act. The boat is immaculate and his kind and gentle demeanor along with his knowledge of the area and culture was the icing on the cake. If you want a private unique experience don’t hesitate to book this excursion . We did cliff jumping with a local Croatian and Jasko took us to all the local off the beaten path locations so we were able to see things that the group tours miss. We had a beautiful traditional Croatian seafood lunch on a beautiful beach again with no other tour boats!! The food was amazing. We plan to come back with our kids and will absolutely be booking with Jasko again! Thanks for the amazing time, our friend:)

We had a wonderful boat tour with Josco! We saw the blue cave, other islands, small beaches, lovely lunch with authentic Croatian food….. Josco’s family has been in the area for many generations and he shares interesting Croatian culture and information. And he’s a very experienced skipper! We highly recommend Josco Boat Tours!

An absolute amazing day was had by us all and I can’t recommend Josko enough. From start to finish his valuable knowledge of the area made this trip truly unique and customised to what we wanted to do.
One member of the group was very nervous but Josko went out of his way to ensure she was comfortable and at ease for the entire trip.

Don’t hesitate to book with Josko! We (my husband and I and another couple) did a 4-person tour with Josko and his son and it was a great experience. Josko was easy to communicate and let us customize our day, and he was also really transparent with us about the weather potentially not being favorable for us, which we appreciated. We ended up lucking out, though, and Josko took us to a few islands, coves/ beaches, blue cave and we had a great day. He provided a cooler with ice, water and soft drinks, and also told us a lot about Croatia. Highly recommend!!

Josko and his son were flexible, kind and professional. When our original date was washed out due to rain, he helped us reschedule and adjusted the itinerary to make sure we had a blast despite the cave being closed due to high waves. The boat seemed brand new and comfortably seated our party of 6. We had a blast and would highly recommend this experience!

Joško was a kind and brilliant host and guide in every respect. Unfortunately one of my daughters came down with a vomiting bug overnight before the scheduled day for the trip. I texted him at 6am and he was relaxed and good-natured about postponing for a day.
My daughter has just about recovered sufficiently to come along a day later, so we met Joško and his son, on time, at the exact place he indicated - couldn’t have been easier to meet.
From the outset the trip exceeded expectations. Joško was completely flexible about the itinerary, listening to what we wanted to do and making recommendations based on his huge local knowledge (he grew up in Hvar, as did many generations of his family). He took us to numerous interesting spots, explaining the historical and geographic contexts, allowing us to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each.
The day was topped off by a fantastic lunch at a very authentic little seafront restaurant which Joško knew well - I don’t think I’ve ever had fresher or tastier seafood, all served by a brilliant and chatty host.
Joško’s boat is comfortable and powerful and he bought along plenty of complimentary soft drinks for us. All in all we had a fabulous day which we’ll all remember forever.
The only caveat I would mention is that the boat is a RIB and the channel between Hvar and Vis island is often quite choppy, so if you’ve got a bad back or will be bothered by bumping up and down a fair bit, then consider booking a group trip on a big boat. For us though, this trip was just perfect and I wouldn’t change anything about it.
