Take the shuttle bus from your ship to the port terminal. I will meet you as you get off the bus. Some ships stop at the deep water anchor and offer a tender to the landing Jetty at Holyhead Yacht Club. If so, I will meet you there. Look out for the Tudno Tours logo!

This was an absolute wonderful tour. Our friends had not booked and the tour guide ended up having extra slots so they allowed them to join. It was the best tour and he told us so much.

The small group tour was well worth the cost- our guide Trevor was superlative! His knowledge base is extensive and his personality and humor enhanced the castle tour. Extraordinary castle; be sure to climb the spiral steps to the top of the towers!

Trevor and his wife were very knowledgeable about the region and the castle. He extensively told stories of the king and his exploits. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend this excursion. They were also sensitive to my fear of heights and allowed my fearless husband to explore further. The steps in the castle were challenging!

Trevor was a delightful tour guide! We learned everything we needed to know along the way and highly enjoyed his presence. The castle grounds are stunning and our only wish is that the tour could have stayed hours longer!

The castle was amazing and we learned so much! Taylor (I think that was his name) from Tudno Tours was interesting and friendly and the vehicle was comfortable. We had a very smooth pick up at the cruise port. I highly recommend!

We booked both the morning and afternoon half day tours with Tudno tours and would highly recommend to get a better experience in Wales the day was full of sites with nice breaks for snacks and lunch.

Our tour of Caernarfon Castle with Trevor of Tudno Tours was the best tour of our 12 day cruise. We had never visited Wales, but we left loving the beautiful scenery and knowing more about the role of Wales in the history of the British Isles.
Trevor was waiting promptly at the end of the very long pier in Holyhead, and took our group of 6 to the castle, while providing some historical background to the site we were to visit. He had prearranged our admission tickets to the castle, so we strolled in past the large group from the ship's tour. He led us expertly through the castle, explaining how it was constructed and defended over the years. The tour concluded with King Charles investiture as Prince of Wales at the castle, and a bit of time for shopping in the charming town. Trevor provided lots of interesting history in an amusing way, making the tour both fun and informative.

This was a fabulous tour. It was in a small (8 person) van, so it was very personable! It was easy for our guide to find parking! Trevor was fantastic!! He is an ex-high school history teacher, and we could tell. He gave us so much information, and his stories were great! And he came along with us when we went to the castle (versus other "look on your own" type tours). He knew where to go, all the things to see, and again had great stories. We took 8 tours on our cruise and Trevor was by far our best guide. I highly recommend this tour. Great job Trevor!!

This was a great shore excursion. Our guide was really knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We had a great time. He answered all of our questions and explained the history.
The tour ran on time, the minibus was super clean and there was even tea and coffee on board.
Highly recommend, much better than a cruise company big bus excursion.

When booking, Trevor, our guide, sends a specific email telling you exactly how it will work once we get off the ship. This helped immensely. Trevor, in our opinion, went above and beyond, waiting for others to arrive….calls, emails, waited for last shuttle. A half hour to be exact! He even stayed after ours to see if they showed up for the second time slot, which he gave as an option. They were a no show. So We had Trevor all to ourselves! He did a fabulous job. Catering the tour to what we would want to see. Extremely knowledgeable in the topic. We enjoyed it throughly.

Trever was on time picking us up from the Cruise Ship terminal. He was interesting and knowledgeable about the area and the history. The small group tour allowed for some flexibility on the amount of time we spent at stops on the tour. We were returned to the Cruise ship terminal on time. The tour was well worth the money spent and I highly recommend.
