Not worth it

The package is for performance on Saigon Opera followed by dinner cruise on river. But if opera is sold out, it becomes cruise only, non-refundable. It is on Viator web-site but not very clear. So check opera tickets first before ordering! In our case it became dinner cruise only. Not worth the money. The dinner service was lousy. I ordered a fish. After 30 minutes told it was not available. So ordered another fish, but again told 15 minutes not available. So ordered a third fish that came after about 15 minutes. Meanwhile my wifes food came, and also my dessert etc. The views are nice, and the big kind of party boat had load music and some singer and dancers. The organizers package included pickup at hotel and delivery there after with a guide, which worked without problems but nothing special.

I had a very terrible experience of booking for dinner cruise in Ho Chi Minh city.Viator charged me $125 SGD for a dinner cruise which costs less than half and there was no option given to cancel.I was also asked by tour guide that I will have to pay for dinner onboard.The experience was miserable and I was given no choice but to continue the cruise dinner. Upon request the tour guide arranged free dinner

If your smart enough. You will understand that vistor aslo ear money as commission. I do bussiness, I have to pay gourverment taxes, tour guide fees. I have no idea with your IQ.

Great night but expensive

Really enjoyed the whole evening but not convinced worth £80 each. Our courier Kieran was fantastic, he collected us from the hotel and took us to the show and after the show onto the cruise and home again in taxi's. The A O show was really good but only lasted just an hour and we were seated on the top balony level but this might be because we booked last minute. The cruise was full when we arrived and most guests were already eating. It was a lovely wooden cruise boat and had great table seats by a window. They had 2 live musicians and 2 young lady dancers playing vietmanese tunes on unusual instruments which was great. Only downside for us was 70% of offering had fish in it which we don't eat and most of the food on buffet was luke warm which was dissapointing. The rice and beef/ carrott stew was really nice though aswell as cold desserts. Kieran was very friendly and had excellent english and ensured we had a lovely night.

Highly recommend the show. However, the seat was terrible, tucked in a corner, beside a column. I had to crane my neck for the entirety of the show in order to see parts of the action. There were empty seats through the theatre, with three beside me, yet ushers wouldn't let me move. The food on the cruise was fine but appetizers, main and fruit were all delivered at once. My guide, Dwan was fantastic though. Very personable.

The show was excellent and our host was great. The dinner cruise was disappointing... unfortunately because we were a last minute, day before, booking we were put on the shark boat. The karaoke 🎤 was a struggle to listen to the entire ride and the food was disappointing... not to mention we had an extra cost in the boat which I wish we skipped. So if you are looking to book this i suggest you verify it it is the buffet boat (the better option) vs the shark boat.. I wish we just did the show unfortunately.

This is an amazing way to start your trip! Great food, great entertainment, lovely skyline cruise with many photo opportunities and attentive guide! AO Lune Productions was a real treat. I must say, the cruise buffet was wayyyy better than expected and was a pleasant surprise. Ryan took great care of us. He arrived early, patiently waited. He took us around and brought us back safely. He provided a good understanding of history, was very friendly and easy to communicate with and provided many great tips on how/where to enjoy different aspects of the city. He even checked in on us after the tour to share additional tips. We could not have asked for a better guide.

Lights, show and dinner

We were so impressed with our guide Lily and her companion. We had never ridden on motorcycles and they made us feel so at ease getting to the AO show and cruise on time. Lily also gave us a wonderful and unique insight into her life in Ho Chi Min City. She was a great credit to the young adults in the city. While not much during the day the riverbank lights up at night with the many lighted buildings. Thank you for a great experience.

The show was excellent. Very entertaining! Our guide, Oliver, did a great job. It rained a lot while we were on the dinner cruise but there was still good views of the beautiful city.
