This was a fantastic way to experience this particular part of history in Vietnam. “Honda” (Hailongle) was an excellent guide, telling us all about each step of the trip and even taking some photos for us. The speed boat is definitely the way to go! Instead of 2.5+ hours in a car, I’ll take 90 minutes up the Saigon River any day! Fantastic meal at the end in the restaurant, and everyone was so gracious.

speedboat was great to get to the tunnels. Didn't have to wait in traffic. Didn't know there was a shooting range...spent a lot of time there waiting for others in our group to shoot. We were picked up at 8am and got back to the hotel at 2pm. The trip says 8 hours when we only were on it for 6...did we miss something? On the way back we had extra people on our speedboat who were going to the war remnants museum...was this why? Tim was lovely

This tour was a great way to better understand how the Viet Cong used the vast tunnel system and how they managed to survive and thrive during this difficult time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, and informative. Our lunch was good and the boat ride was a great way to see a different part of the city and country.

Our guide Nhu was absolutely incredible!! So kind and knowledgeable and provided a wonderful experience for us. Nhu was so patient and helpful and allowed us to experience the tunnels at our pace and do all the things we wanted. We were contacted two days prior to the trip as the harbour was closed to try and change the day so we could still go by speedboat. Unfortunately, we already had plans and couldn’t change the date. What an amazing experience! We had a private tour where we were collected promptly from our hotel. The journey from Ho Chi Min City took about 1 hour. Our fabulous guide, Jackie was very knowledgeable and was able to share lots of information about Vietnam and the war. Our driver, Mr Nam ensured that the vehicle’s AC was on and water and snacks were available. Jackie was an excellent guide while we were at the tunnels and also took lots of photographs for us. We had a delicious lunch before being returned to our hotel. Would 100% recommend the company and know that you are in safe hands if you have Mr Nam and Jackie as your driver and guide!

Would've loved the speedboat

We were picked up on time, water and biscuits were provided. The night before we were advised that we wouldn't be taking the speedboat and now driving. A little disappointed as this was the whole reason we booked the tour. The tour guide we had was really good, she was knowledgeable, kind and relatable. We enjoyed our trip and finished on time.

Picked up on time. Trip ran to time throughout. Guide had lots on knowledge of the tunnel complex. Water & biscuits provided ahead of what was a tasty lunch served. Trip by boat along the river provides a good opportunity to see this part of Vietnam from another aspect, it’s also quicker than by bus and worth the extra cost in my opinion

Tommy our tour guide was sensational. I was picked up from my hotel on time and he was so informative throughout the trip. The boat trip was an awesome experience and I think it its a much better alternative to road transport. The lunch was sensational at the tunnels and had a great experience firing an M60 machine gun at the shooting range at the tunnel site. Great tour company can not fault the trip. Will definitely look them up on my next rip

Good value and worth doing

We were picked up from our Hotel and transferred to the dock to board the Hi Speed Boat. We were part of a group of about 8 people and our tour guide was Ann who had excellent english and was great in her level of knowledge, was informative, helpful and very polite to us all. The Hi Speed Boat was in excellent condition, comfortable and had a roof (good for sun protection and comfort). The trip on the Saigon River took an hour to reach Cu Chi Tunnels and that was a highlight of our tour. I was able to take some video and numerous photos. Having been on some of the world's rivers, this was a great way to get to the tunnels and I thoroughly recommend doing at least a one way trip on the boat. The tunnels only took a couple of hours to tour and complete. I had done this already in 2007 and there has been quite a bit of tourist development to this activity - for the better I might add. It appears that the tunnels now average around 1,500-3,000 visitors per day, depending on the season. You can also experience going into the tunnels for up to 100 m, doing 20 m sections at a time. This is a definite increase on what you could do in 2007. After the tunnels, we returned to HCMC by mini-van, which was comfortable and provided another opportunity to see Vietnemese life outside of the city - another reason for only using the hi-speed boat on the way in. Overall, a very enjoyable tour which was well organised and we were in good hands. I recommend this tour.

From the moment Tommy picked us up from our hotel lobby, on the speed boat trip to the tunnels, during the tour and on the way back this was an amazing experience and everything we hoped for! Our seven year old girls loved the whole trip and crawling 60m through the tunnels.

A really nice speedboat trip up to the tunnels with a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We chose the bus to come back which also gave us a great view of the way of life for the locals. Included a really nice lunch after our tour as well. Was very well priced in comparison to others I looked at.

Vi boede ikke i distrikt 1, men det var ikke svært at finde frem til mødestedet. Vi havde en virkelig sød og imødekommende guide (Ethan), som fortalte en masse interessante ting om krigen. Bådturen var så fin og dejlig "kølig" i de 36 grader vi havde den dag. Vi fik lækker frokost og vand undervejs. Selve turen ned i tunnelerne var virkelig en kæmpe oplevelse. Vi havde 3 børn med på hhv. 8, 8 og 10 år. Vi kunne godt have brugt lidt tid til at oversætte alle de interessante ting for dem - men det var alligevel en stor oplevelse for os alle.
