    An island of interest

    Robert_D, Sep 2025
The trip started off in some confusion. Asked if we had the correct coach , he checked for our name and said he did not know. This happened to a few other people. Once that was sorted the actual trip was brilliant. With an interesting discourse on parts of the island it filled the day admirably.

Hi Robert. I understand that due to the rescheduled porting into Guernsey due to the adverse weather conditions, a number of tours were combined, and sensibly, as guest arrived from their cruise ships on tenders, as a coach was filled, it then left. I am pleased you enjoyed the day- the Guernsey coach driver-guides are great!

4 of us were booked to go...

4 of us were booked to go on a tour of Guernsey, but due to misinformation given by P&0 Arcadia staff we did not get to the mainland in time to pick up the tour. However the tour staff on Guernsey went out of their way to help and provided a taxi to catch up with the tour, so we missed a very little of it - top marks to them and a big thank you from all of us.

    Great trip, excellent value

What a lovely trip! The driver was very knowledgeable and took us to some interesting places. We even saw some Guernsey cows. The Little Chapel was beautiful, Guernsey Pearl was interesting and there were plenty of toilet stops. Great value for money.

Hi Lynda Many thanks for your kind words. Guernsey is indeed a beautiful Island, and very surprising how much you can see on a very small island!

Lovely whistlestop coach tour of Guernsey

    Neil_P, Jun 2025
It was about 3.5 hours starting at the centre of St Peter Port on a comfortable small coach. Mark (?) was our driver and guide. All the way along he shared facts about the island and the locations we were passing. We stopped for the Little Chapel, some old fortifications in the north, and for a pleasant quick lunch at the Guernsey Pearl (not included in price) looking out to Fort Grey. A relaxed easy way to see the island and learn about it.

Hi Neil, Lovely to see that you enjoyed your short but informative tour in Guernsey! We have found that a few hours exploring outside of the capital suits most people, and leaves you enough time 'to do your own thing' !
