A very pleasant and interesting city tour with a local guide who was able to give us historical information and details, with possibility to adapt the visit according to our wishes. For instance, we stopped for visiting the Skenduli house and have learnt a lot about the way of life of the ottoman owner's family.

This was our favorite experience of our 12 day stay in Albania! We learned more in 2 hours than we learned in all the other days combined. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information about the city and country’s history. We saw the highlights of Gjirokastër and especially enjoyed our visit to one of Gjirokaster’s famous family houses. If we would have visited without a guide we would not have learned nearly as much. This tour is a must-do!
