No-show, no communication either

Waited for my pickup at my accomodation as confirmed in the ticket from Viator, however it never showed up. I also had no communication from the operator, either at the time of booking, between booking and activity, or after the no-show. I'm glad so many other people have had a great experience, judging by all the great reviews, but sadly my own experience didn't match that at all.

And we didn't get this reservation Via API Unfortunately, we also did not receive a call or message from you on the day of the activity to reconfirm or inform us that you were waiting. If we had been contacted, we would have immediately tried to assist or clarify the situation. That said, we completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when the ticket information caused confusion. We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication beforehand, and we will work with Viator to make sure the pickup details are stated more clearly to avoid this happening again. Thank you for acknowledging the positive experiences of other guests, and we’re genuinely sorry that your experience did not match those. We booked a surf lesson in Weligama for my husband and our three kids and it was hands down one of the highlights of the trip. The instructors were so patient and encouraging, especially with the younger two, and had them all standing up on boards within the first lesson (maybe not the hubby ha!). Such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and loads of fun. The kids are already begging to go back — and honestly, my husband is too! Would 100% recommend for families.
