A fun cooking class like going to someone’s house for a peaceful and personal learning experience. The family were lovely and we had fun cooking (and eating) delicious Sri Lankan food along with only one other couple. Highly recommended and not taxing on your cooking skills.

We had a really good time with Indra and her family. They are really lovely people and you feel so welcome there. The food was very good and we bought the vegetables we wanted to cook together with her in a close by shop. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The recipes should be provided, only point to improve.

Indra and Nona were so welcoming, friendly and fun. Everything was very well organised, talked us through lots of dishes, and was very hands on. The outdoor cooking space was really nice, and set within a relaxing garden setting. Located not far from town centre

We had such a wonderful time in this family-run cooking class!! Indra & Prabodi took us to the markets to pick fresh veggies & were so fun and friendly throughout the entire cooking process. The cooking class was really lovely. I loved that we went to the shop together and we were able to choose our own dishes. The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was so friendly and lovely the whole time. I definitely recommend it and would do it again! They also just startet Airbnb and the rooms looked so great. All in all it’s a really lovely place with great hosts!

From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The warm welcome and the family-like atmosphere immediately created a relaxed mood. What I especially loved was that we not only cooked together but also discovered many new ingredients and spices. The dishes were incredibly delicious and creative – a feast for all the senses. An all-around wonderful evening that leaves you wanting more. Thank you for this fantastic experience!

Great Experience!!! The cooking experience we had was nothing short of surreal. It was a complete value for money, more bangs per buck guaranteed. All the technical details of the experience were explained clearly by the host. The communication was just perfect. The cooking class was educating, all the veggies and seafood were cooked in the perfect SriLankan style. Tips & tricks of cooking were regularly imparted. The food turned out to be a total treat. SriLankan curries and the rice This place is in Mirissa ( 5 minutes walk from mirissa beach ). This is the BEST cooking class in sri lanka as we were given to understand by talking to a number of locals who were not related to each other or to the host, Overall, this class would really augment your SL trip and make you feel heavy with the culinary memories.

We were greeted so warmly by Prabodi and her mom and then went to the vegetable stand together with the tuktuk. After that everything was always explained to us super great, shown and we were allowed to help with the cooking. It was so funny, we had a lot of fun! There were so many different dishes from lentils dahl, pumpkin curry, mushrooms, pampadam, coconut roti, fried potatoes - and it was the best food so far on our whole Sri Lanka trip !!!
