Overview

Spin through the Franschhoek Valley on two wheels on this mountain-biking and wine-tasting tour from Franschhoek. Hop in the saddle and follow an off-road route through the beautiful Franschhoek Valley with your guide. Along the way, visit two wineries to sample some of the wines for which South Africa is famous, and learn how to pair local wines with chocolate or biltong. Active Way to see Franschhoek

We enjoyed a beautiful day biking around the Franschhoek area. We tasted at two vineyards and took a scenic ride through several others. Our guide, Carlo, kept his energy high and was encouraging to us as we cycled the hills. He shared the history of the region in addition to speaking about the wines, which we really appreciated. We had one non-drinker in the group, and we were accommodated without missing a beat. We didn't ask for any special accommodation, but both wineries provided a non-alcoholic option. This was a nice touch that helped everyone feel included. It is a fun way to get active, see the beautiful town, and learn a little along the way.

My man L.A. was fantastic! Great ride within the vineyards and he was very knowledgeable about the region. Would absolutely do it again and recommend to anyone interested in a nice day.
