Nice tour, that you can make yourself with much more pleasure

Lubov_L, Oct 2023
Nice guide, interesting tour, but it was written "7 hours" and really took about 3.5 hours. We had to constantly rush. In addition, the guide, when getting us off the bus, suggested leaving our bags on the bus, and we listened to him (not knowing in advance how the tour worked - maybe we should get back on the bus in 10 minutes). As a result, we were left without water under the scorching sun for the entire 3.5 hours and were forced to buy drinks at inflated prices (it’s good that we took the money with us). In my opinion, the guide's story also could have been much more informative. I absolutely recommend to visit the place on your own, using local buses or taxi, and spend your saved money on the good book about the place.

Great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pamukkale and Heiraopolis. The guide was knowledgable and friendly. The Turkish lunch was plentiful and delicious. It helped tremendously to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The only wish we have is that there had been time to visit a few more of the sites at Heirapolis.

Deserves way more than 5 stars!

My partner and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Apart from the site itself, which is awesome, our guide Taylan was an absolute legend. Super friendly, super knowledgeable and helped us out with a bunch of recommendations for Kusadasi as well. Even returned after the tour to drop something back to us we’d left on the bus. 5 stars are not enough!

Good

Good communication from tour operator. They arranged the shuttle service to and from airport. The lunch buffet service was really good. Friendly staff. Very organised.

Nice place to visit but not worth spending 6 hours in a bus

It is a 3 hour bus ride from Selcuk to Pammakule and Hierapolis. Our tour guide was friendly, helpful and provided information although it would have been better if he spoke better English. The white terraces of Pammakule are nice but its very busy with people, its almost like a waterpark now. Hierapolis has a nice ancient theatre but not much else besides it. Visiting the sites are probably not worth the 6 hours on a bus. It gets very hot in the afternoon. We did have a very nice buffet lunch on the way back.

Long but worthwhile day out

I had a great time with Marci; she is vivacious and makes sure her guests don't need anything. The tour is long (some descriptions are a bit off). I was picked up in Selcuk at 7 am and dropped off in Kusadasi at 7 pm. It is shorter if you leave the tour in Pamukkale. You do have the option of going into the archaeological museum for a few lira more and swimming in Cleopatra's pool (100 lira extra).

Great tour with Marcy
