Went on the Walking Booze and Boos tour last night and had a blast. Our guide Jake made the whole experience — he was informative without ever feeling like a lecture, kept the group engaged the entire time, and had a great sense of humor that kept the atmosphere fun even during the spookier stories. You could tell he really knew the history behind each stop.
The bar stops were a great touch too, giving the night a nice balance between the ghost stories and just having a good time with the group. Highly recommend if you want something that's equal parts educational, spooky, and social. Ask for Jake if you can!
Fun experience learning about history of Dallas buildings and the ghosts that live there, all g with good stops for cocktails
Tumbleweed was our guide and was super friendly and knowledgeable, we had a great time 10 out of 10 recommend
This was not only fun but very informative as well. Not just about ghosts also some history. The tour was at 7:30 in the evening and it was beautiful to see downtown so vibrant with all its lights and people enjoying themselves. It was well organized, and the tour guide was very entertaining. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
Great walking tour to get your bearings around Dallas. Learning about legends and history is a great way to enjoy a night. Mika was wonderful and fun, highly recommend
It was our first time and it was great! Thanks Jack for his creepy stories and a tour. We learned more about our city
We took clients and it was not a bad experience at all; just kind of too long and too much talking with really not enough of ghost experience outside of stories told. The guide did an amazing job though!
Our guide was charming, welcoming, & funny. We laughed a lot and heard interesting stories! Giving only three stars because the reasons listed below. The tour started super late. We were told to arrive at 6:50 and didn’t even leave the first location until 7:50. While the ghost stories were spooky, the historical side of them was incorrect; the Joule was pronounced “Joel,” the history of several buildings was made up (we’re all from Dallas and some of us worked in these buildings and knew the correct history), the stories of actual murders we’re wildly incorrect. We get it that we were trying to be spooked but suggest trying to stay closer to the facts - especially with a large group of locals. Thirty minutes of research would’ve made the tour much more interesting and ghostly.
Very informative information and our host made it very fun and interesting.people were very friendly
I had a great time on this tour with Jake and the other guests! I only had one day to explore Dallas, and this tour hit the spot. I love hearing about spooky local history in cities that I visit. Also, as a solo traveller, this is a great way to meet fun people to spend the evening with.
Very good group event lots of time to talk and hang with your group. Group narrator was funny and informative.
Wonderful experience, make sure to wear comfortable shoes and attire. Amazing to see the sights of downtown Dallas
And get a history lesson simultaneously!
We had a really good time and experience. The weather was nice and we wanted to try something different and our tour guide Queen Elizabeth was really awesome!
Our guide was great! She was well informed on history in the area, flexible with the group, and in general facilitated a great tour!
So much fun! We did this on a whim and had a blast! Tumbleweed T was a great host and we got to learn a lot of interesting history and spooky stories!
Our tour guide was Michael and he was AMAZING!!! He was incredibly knowledgable about ghosts AND history. He was very entertaining and kept us engaged the entire time. I only wish it was longer!!! By the end I was getting so wrapped up in the stories Michael was telling I just wanted more. I would recommend this tour to everyone, ghost hunter or not! My boyfriend was with me and he isn’t really into the ghost stories but he still had a blast. The bars they had us stop at were really enjoyable and very unique. Loved all the architecture as well.
Myka was a wonderful tour guide!! This haunted tour of Dallas was one of my favorite things I did while visiting. If you like ghosts and haunting stories, this tour in Dallas is awesome!!
I was really looking forward to this ghost tour. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected and severe anxiety episode the day of the tour (I am traveling alone across the country for the first time), I wasn’t able to attend. I understand and respect the 24-hour cancellation policy, but I reached out to explain my situation, hoping for at least a gesture of understanding or flexibility given the circumstances.
Instead, I received a curt response stating simply that there are no refunds and that they would let the guide know I wasn’t coming. No acknowledgment of my situation, no offer of a credit or reschedule — just a flat “no.”
I wasn’t asking for special treatment, just a little empathy. Mental health challenges can be unpredictable, and I think businesses, especially those in hospitality and tourism, should be able to show at least a basic level of kindness when something like this comes up.
I hope in the future they consider treating these rare situations with a bit more care.
Just thought you should know the type of business you are supporting before giving them your money.
Our tour guide (Trey) was very nice, but the tour was not at advertised. We met at Harwood Tavern as expected and stopped to talk about surrounding hotels at Main Street Garden. That is where we strayed from the advertised description. Most of the discussion from this point on centered around paranormal activity in general and not any history of downtown Dallas or reported ghosts in the vicinity. We spent a lot of time talking about things that happened near UNT in Denton and not in downtown Dallas. Our guide showed us his personal videos of suspected paranormal activity, but there was no connection to the history of downtown Dallas. He also invited other tour participants to share their stories of paranormal experiences. We did not take the tour to hear other participants speak. We stopped at a pub that was not listed and did not seem to have any history of ghosts. Our group of seven left the tour about 15 minutes early, but had not yet seen the Giant eyeball, discussed the Pegasus, or passed the Majestic Theater. We were excited to end at the Adolphus and the Rodeo Bar knowing that there is a history of ghosts there, but our guide acted like he wasn't sure we were going to make it there. From the advertisement, we anticipated hearing some history of the downtown area and about ghosts at various Dallas landmarks as well as actually seeing those sites. As stated, Trey was very nice. There were 11 people total in our tour, but we had a difficult time hearing him even when he used his microphone. We were not sure if he just went rogue on the tour or if he had not been properly trained as to the content of the tour. This tour would be best for people wishing to speak to others and share paranormal experiences rather than explore historical sites with a history of reported ghosts. Nine of the eleven people on the tour left early.
Had a great time! Myka was a great guide and very attentive! The routes are pretty accessible, and so are most of the stops.
Michael, our tour guide, was awesome! His personality, sense of humor and knowledge, added to making this already fun tour great!!
It’s average. The “booze” isn’t really tied into the experience. So the drinking feels like a disjointed experience. All can be put together much better. The story telling is fine. Would give it a “B”… we’ve been on several ghost tours which have been more “haunting” … not a bad experience but nothing I would rave about either. Frankly, we left early cuz we got bored.
The tour was great. Taylor was an excellent guide. We had a wonderful night with the stories and tavern stops.
Something a little different from the normal ghost walks with stops inside some bars was fun. Would go again.
The tour was not vibing. Guide(s) didn’t finish a single ghost story the entire night. The guide had been doing this for a year + but couldn’t tell us the dates of any of the events that were mentioned on the “tour”. The bar hopping was super random. It wasn’t worth the time or money.

Hi Jessica, we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour. We would appreciate it if you would reach out directly so we can get a little more information so that we can use this feedback constructively. You can email us at info@nightlyspirits.com.
This ghost tour was informative and fun. There are 4 stops and they're all fairly close together. I like how we had enough time at each bar to rest and talk. It didn't feel too rushed. The ghost stories Taylor told us were jaw dropping. She's a wonderful tour guide and storyteller. She also encouraged us to share our own ghost stories.
Tayler was a phenomenal guide. Would definitely recommend her to others. It's a must do. My wife and I loved the tour.
Taylor made the tour interesting and enjoyable. The tour gave us a new insight to downtown Dallas and now want to learn more.
Jake, our guide, was great, knowledgeable and personable. The walk wasn’t too far and it was flat. Great stories and great iconic sites to see at night in Dallas.
Some stories , some history , and some good drinks. Also get to see some of the sculptures around when you walk and the walking is not to far from bar to bar. Was nice casual vibe.
