Trina was great and her English was excellent. We went to the pagoda, silk factory, and museum. I hadn't realized that the plan was to *hike up* Marble Mountain and I couldn't do that due to a recent injury. It was a nice outing.

I had one day in Da Nang and Cindy gave me a great tour around the city at night. Lady Buddha, Dragon bridge, and stopping for local noodles were a few highlights. A great way to see the city.

Having a private guide can give you insights and can answer specific questions into areas of an attraction that you are interested in that are often miss in larger groups, you can gain an view into Vietnamese life. Our guide Cindy, her European name, not only told, guided, us through the physical and historical landscape of the sights we visited she also told us about Vietnamese life in general. It was so much more than a guided tour. The tour of the marble factory could have been missed especially the hard sell but it was interesting if for nothing other than seeing the vast array of objects made. Was it value for money? Probably!!
