The tour was amazing! Our guide was very kind and took great care of us - he was also very knowledgeable and knew every plant and animal in the park (he even discovered a new plant species). It was our favorite tour during our whole stay in Vietnam 😊 the views were amazing and the park is lovely.
The tour is physically a bit demanding though, as we had to climb a bit - therefore don’t do this if you are unfit or have any injuries or disabilities.

👍👍
Very punctual pick-up.
Very comfortable and clean van.
Super friendly and warm-hearted guides with decent English.
Food was okay and a request for vegetarian food was catered for.
Additional snacks was fruit which was great.
👎👎
The itinerary was the following:
1 hour driving --> unnecessary 15 min break --> 45 min driving --> 25 min wait for guides to regroup --> 45 min drive up the mountain road --> a 10/15 min walk --> break --> a 10/15 min walk back --> 5 min drive --> another long break and waiting to receive lunch box and waterproof backpack --> 60 min slow trek along a river --> 45 mins lunch break --> 30 min walk to waterfall --> another long break --> another short walk --> drive back. NOT as described in the info.
We heard extremely basic and generic info regarding both history and nature. I know that this is expected as guides cannot depend on everyone being interested to hear detailed information about anything but I learned more about the history of the place with 5 minutes of reading the descriptions in the photo exhibition inside the building on the mountain peak.
❗ The entire pack is misleading - the '5 lakes' are actually 5 large ponds in the river that the cascades of falls have formed in the gorge.
❗ Going to the mountain peak happens along a paved path and it's a 10-min walk. Making it to the beginning of the river trail happens by hopping back on the van. The trail itself is a bit crowded, very secure and not particularly challenging with all the ropes available and quite short itself - THIS ISN'T A HIKE.
❗❗ The worst part: you don't get to see the Do Quyen waterfall AT ALL. Not only (according to the guide) it's inaccessible from below, but when you make it to the top of it, there is a little fence that prevents you from going just a little further where you can probably see it at least a little bit.
Overall the trip is certainly not worth it if you're thinking you're going for a day of trekking. This isn't a mountain trek that you'd prefer to do with an experienced guide. This is a tourist spot that is, annoyingly, made impossible to visit on your own so you have to pay for the service. Heavily, heavily non-recommended for keen mountaineers. If you just want a nice outing and you don't normally spend time in mountains, then surely go for it.

Very beautiful hike. Your feet will get wet crossing through the stream. Our guide Linh was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made it a safe and enjoyable experience.

Really enjoyable experience and stunning scenery in the national park. Thuy was a great guide and gave us lots of facts about the national park and the wildlife. Small tour group meant the experience was a bit more personal. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience! The best nature tour I have done so far in Asia. Real hiking with some good elevation gain if you choose to do the leg to the big waterfall. Everything was perfect, from the guides to the drivers and everything else. Highly recommend!

Great adventurous tour with amazing views and lovely swimming. Our guide Sang was friendly and informative. Just remember to bring a towel!

Me and my mum had the most brilliant time on the tour! The journey is quite long but you experience the amazing Hai Van Pass on the way, and we stopped at a picturesque lake too. The views are incredible, the hike was fantastic but challenging in parts and I would really recommend it to people who are physically fit. Swimming in the waterfall was a highlight :) Our guide Shang was engaging and informative and really did his best to make sure everyone had the best experience possible.

My most memorable part was the hike to the five lakes. It was a difficult hike as there were no paved roads and we need to climb rocks, but the sense of accomplishment after the hike is amazing. The scenery is beautiful as well but the tour was a little fast-paced and I don't have time to take many pictures along the way as I was busy catching up with the others. There were other opportunities for photos at certain points e.g. Lake no.3 when people are swimming, and on top of the waterfall. The tour guide Ngoc and the trainee Min (I'm not sure if I got her name right) were very friendly and shared interesting facts along the way about the park.

This trip was beyond my expectation. Tough weather was raining and there was no view from the peak it turns out to be a really stunning hiking. The fog gave the jungle an unique charm. The 5 lakes trail is challenging, with stunning views of the lakes and the vegetations. Glad i took this trip.
