We had a great day with Toan seeing the citadel at Hue and the mausoleum. It was super hot but he made sure we were hydrated. He always offered to take pictures for us.

Great tour guide Harry. He would explain the history of Hue but also allow us to rest during the long bus ride. The stops were very interesting and I enjoyed them. Lunch was large and delicious. It was a great day in Hue.

Mariana was great. She is very knowledgeable and explained the history of Vietnamese kings.
The tour takes you to see beautiful places in Hue, including the Imperial palace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Hue with a visit to the impressive Citadel and Imperial City, followed by a sumptuous and tasty lunch. We then were impressed by the Thien Mu Pagoda and the tomb of Khai Dinh. Miss Banana, our guide, kept it fast paced and interesting. She had much insight and knowledge. Her bubbling personality was a joy. We highly recommend.

Our guide Candy, was very knowledgable,funny, and always making sure we were doing ok. So much history, in the 5 sites we went to. Lunch was amazing.,they prepared a vegetarian lunch for me..Very nice restaurant..staff were fantastic.

It was hot and long day but it all worth it! the tour is going through scenic panorama just like the name where cloud and sea meets. Our guide Thinh was awesome! he covers all the cultural and historical stories of the Citadel. One word, Go For it and ask for Thinh to be your tour guide.

A very interesting trip learning about the ancient history of Vietnam. Our guide Quoc was extremely knowledgeable and was able to share the information in an engaging way. He also spoke very good English so we felt able to ask additional questions with ease.
On the journey to Hue City we enjoyed the spectacular scenery of the Hai Van pass and the stop at the oyster/pearl farm.

We had a great experience with our tour leader, Mariana and our driver. She was very informative and gave us some time to walk around and take photos at each of the stops. The lunch was good and had vegetarian options which were delicious. Overall, it was a great day trip to Hue!

Thong and our driver were the stars and deserver a 5 star rating. Thong is a professional that is aware of his diverse group needs/requests, shares his studied historical facts with clarity/enunciation, and engages in questions/observations from his audience. As well a shout out for the driver arranging for an ice chest so cold water was available and offered through the day.
The tour sites/stops I give a 4 star rating. I am always interested in cultural diversity and historical sites/architecture but the imperial city (the focus of the tour) is not maintained as a cultural landmark. I am not speaking of restoration to the buildings but manageable less costly efforts such as removal/pickup of trash on the grounds, cut overgrown grass, or eliminate weeds from paths. Those touches would reflect greater pride in the nations heritage.
I was impressed with the unique architecture and grandeur of the Tomb of Khai Dinh which was the last stop.
Also, a stop at the Viet Pearl Gift shop was a loss of time. I suspect given the sales pressure when I walked into the shop that tour companies do receive some type of compensation from Viet Pearl for bringing in potential customers.

Our guide Ty Dang has a good knowledge of the history. He was able to share this and also more te ent change including his personal experiences as da nang has had a lot of change in the last 30 years. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was great. A good range of Vietnamese food, including vegetarian. The bus was very comfortable for a full day. Highly recommend.

Even though it was a long drive, it was worth it. Learning about the Imperial city and the last dynasty was very interesting. The architecture of the tomb of the 12th emperor was beautiful. Mariana did a great job. I would recommend this tour for anyone to see Hue.

The tour program covering pickup, the sights, time allotted to cover the sites, the tour guide knowledge, the drop off, the driver - all excellent.
However the vehicle that carried the group was a disaster. Extremely uncomfortable. I just went for a massage to get rid of the body pain caused by sitting cooped up in the middle seat for hours. Please do not place such vehicles for tours like this.

Hue is intertwined with the rich history of Vietnam and in my opinion is a must visit place for lovers of history. It was the last capital of imperial Vietnam. The imperial palace here is well kept and really beautiful.

Thong was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable and personable and the tour was really interesting and beautiful. We never felt rushed at the sites and Thong adapted our schedule to the group when everyone was hungry and preferred to eat before the next site. I recommend this tour and recommend Thong as your guide.
