Dat was exceptional! Very knowledgeable, precise, professional and efficient! Gave us an excellent experience including local culinary lunch. His English is perfect! We saw the town, beach, Lady Buddha (Monkey Mountain), Marble Mountain with its main cave, Lin Ungh Pagoda, Dragon Bridge and beautiful Hoi An! Strongly recommend this activity!

We has an excellent private tour of DaNang and Hoi An. Our guide Tung was very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the Lady Buddha and the beautiful Temple. The grounds of the Temple are lovely and filled with fun monkey. Tung took us for a delicious local meal with the best bread we ever had! Hoi An was an interesting village where we got some great souvenirs.

Hung gave a very good tour adapted for our limited walking. We had a nice lunch in HOI AN. He also has a good discussion of DaNang history.

What a great tour! We saw beautiful sites and had a wonderful guide and driver. So easy to get in and out of sites easily navigating traffic and crowds. Our guide even assisted us with shopping! This is a great city with much to see and enjoy.

Driver and guide arrived early at the port for pickup….guide had excellent English and was very knowledgeable. He was also attentive to our needs, as seniors, and flexible on the itinerary.

From the moment of pick up at the Port, we had a fantastic day with Hung. He was friendly, informative & very flexible with the activities for the day. The tour was above & beyond what the itinerary stated. Hung found a great place for us to eat lunch at Hoi An & was infinitely patient with our meandering through the shops & stalls in the town. Kudos to our driver Hua, he was amazing too!

This is actually Rebecca’s niece Cathy writing the review, because she wasn’t able to go after all. My mother and I had only a couple hours to see Hoi An. We let our guide Mr. Tung know that we wanted to take a slow walk through old town, find a nice coffee shop with a view, and do a little souvenir shopping. Mr. Tung said we could count on him and boy did he come through! He was at the meeting point early and greeted us immediately. On the drive, we saw Da Nang, which also looks like a wonderful place to visit. Once we got to Hoi An, Mr. Tung walked with us, letting us choose our pace, stopping at shops when something caught our eye. He took care to help us cross streets safely and guided us to a clean restroom when I needed it. He showed us some highlights that I’m really glad we saw, and pointed out some interesting architectural details and gave us a little history as well. We of course visited the famous covered bridge and admired many lanterns. Mr. Tung got us a perfect table at a very nice coffee shop, with a view of the river. He recommended we try “salt coffee”, which was DELICIOUS. We had a great experience and would love to have Mr. Tung as a guide again in the future. Hoi An is a very special place, and touring it with someone who can share history and insights makes it even more enjoyable. I would love to visit again.

It's always the guide that makes a tour like this work, because you spend a lot of time together in a car or walking around. Tiffany was our guide from this trip and she was great! Fun to team to, very informative about both Da Nang and Vietnam in general, with perspectives from her life and her family's life.
The sights themselves were also fantastic, even on a cloudy day. Hoi An would be great at night, which we didn't do, but overall this was fantastic.

We had an amazing tour with Dat. His english was excellent, he had a deep knowledge of all the attractions as well as a very deep understanding of Vietnam history and current politics.
We had a wonderful time seeing all the sights, Dat took us to excellent restaurants, spa places etc. I would highly recommend this tour, and would request Dat if possible.

This was the best tour we’ve ever experienced. It’s something we’ll remember forever. Our driver Viet was phenomenal, we felt very safe on the busy streets. Dat was our best guide we’ve had, he spent so much time sharing his knowledge about the city and history of Vietnam. Dat and Viet are amazing, thank you for everything! This was our best day so far in Vietnam. Chi made the day very special for all of us. She was very informative and flexible with the schedule. She made sure we were able to see and do everything we wanted. She took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch in Hoi An - Morning Glory. Highly recommend.

2 unnecessary stops for company to get a kickback. One at a time”marble showroom”. The other was “silk factory”. The annoying part was someone following you around trying to get you to buy stone Buddhas, T shirts, dresses, suits, lanterns, jewelry, etc. the guide was not very enthusiastic and I got the feeling was not fond of Americans, although he never expressed that directly.

Hung (guide) and Dung (driver) were the best!
Hung was incredible! They met us at the port in Chan May (Hue) about 45 minutes before our scheduled disembarkation time since our cruise ship docked earlier than scheduled. That was an excellent start to the day, especially since they are coming from 90 minutes away in Hoi An. We had a few places on our itinerary (marble mountain, lady Buddha, and a particular restaurant). They quickly determined the best order to see our list and added a few great stops for pictures and shopping. Hung’s English is excellent and his personality is perfect for this profession. He is hilarious and the best guide we had all trip!
Don’t hesitate to ask for Hung if stopping at Danang, Hue, or Hoi An!

A very thorough and informative tour of the major sights in the DaNang and Hoi An areas with a knowledgeable guide who spoke great English and provided a lot of information not only on the sights we visited but also on Vietnam in general. There wasn't question that I had which he couldn't answer in great detail. In addition, my guide gave me a lot of little local experiences along the way so I felt completely immersed in the culture and life of the area.

We had limited time in the area and this proved to be an enjoyable and efficient way to explore the area. Our driver and guide were knowledgeable of the history and culture and presented in an entertaining way. It is well worth every penny spent on this trip. Since it is a private tour you can make minor adjustments to the trip plan.

We had a wonderful evening with our guide Chi. She was informative and sweet. Hoi An is well worth a visit, especially at night. Very lively place, the stops before that were also interesting. Great driver, clean comfortable car, timely pickup. We can highly recommend this tour.

Hoi An is an amazing and charming little town, which seemed to come alive at night. The beautiful lights and evening boat ride were some of the highlights our tour. Some of the amazing places visited on the way to Hoi An included the Monkey Mountain and Marble Mountain. The most memorable part of our tour is our wonderful tour guide, Dat. He is knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Without him, the tour would not have been so much fun. Thanks, Dat!

This was a great tour and guide went out of his way to show us extra points of interest in area. Everyone had an enjoyable time. We enjoyed our lunch at a local place he recommended. Was on time at location specified and since we had extra time he did not hurry us at any point.

What an amazing day! Mike did a wonderful job of showing us both Da Nang and Hoi An and I can’t believe how well that our driver negotiated all of that traffic, kudos to him as well. Our favorite stop was Lady Buddha followed by Marble Mountain. We saw so much more than I thought we would be able to do but using a van instead of being on a big bus we could get in and out of quite a few places and Mike timed everything perfectly! Hoi An was perfect for dinner by the water so we could watch the lantern boats while we ate. We have two in our group that travel with walkers and poc's and Mike was wonderful with helping us negotiate the walking and crowds. Be aware that Hoi An doesn’t allow vehicles and it is a good amount of walking with some uneven surfaces. We did tons of shopping and had a great time bartering! I don’t think we missed much and we learned quite a bit and tried some delicious new foods.

We wanted a private tour for our group of eight traveling on a cruise ship. This was a port stop in Da Nang. Denny (possibly spelled wrong) was our guide and he did an AWESOME job matching this tour to our group. We had time at Marble Mountain, seeing rice patties, going to a temple/Lady Buddha, and spending the perfect amount of time in Hoi An at dusk into dark. (What a beautiful city!!!). He even stopped at the dragon bridge on the way back to the ship so we could see it lit up. This trip totally exceeded our expectations and our guide and driver werre exceptional. I'd definitaly recommend this tour to others.
