Nothing great. Elderly and kids can make it. 120 to 240 stairs. wasted 1hour in silk factory.

Paul was a good guide i really enjoyed Hoi An latern tour, dinner is something different. Just be careful when buying tickets for the boats to get you ticket after purchasing.

The tour operator added an extra location to a tour. Long was a great guide but we found the tour a little boring. The only highlight was Hoi Anh and the walk to the lanterns. Food was very plain and tasteless.

It was convenient being picked up directly from our resort, and Tim was both informative and funny, which we appreciated. However, overall, the experience felt overrated. We were expecting a guided tour of the Ancient City, but instead, we were left to explore on our own. Dinner was unfortunately below average, and considering the total cost was nearly AU$90 per person, we felt the value for money just wasn’t there. We also had to pay extra for the river boat ride and lanterns, which we assumed were included. We didn’t actually enter the Ancient City properly or visit key landmarks like the Japanese Bridge, which was disappointing.

We had a great evening visiting marble mountain and Hoi An. Tour started on time and ended on time. It was done so efficiently. I didn’t get our guide’s name but he was very good and informative. Spoke excellent English and executed the trip flawlessly. If you are stuck for time and want to do the Da Nang highlights I will definitely recommend this tour.

Enjoyable trip. Highly recommended. Tour guide was Tee. He explained the cultural significance of Marble Mountain very clearly and also ensured we were safe the whole time. He gave us enough time to take rest and use washrooms as and when needed. Had dinner from a Vietnamese restaurant after which we were given 2hrs to walk around the beautiful streets of Hoi An town and also take river cruise (at our own expense). The trip was a memorable and peaceful experience.

The sights were great but our guide was like she was in a race. There were a lot of elderly people in our group and struggled to keep up. When we asked her to slow down for the group… it made no difference. She just kept walking extremely fast. It was very busy along the river and people were getting left behind. Very frustrating

Tour started 45 minutes late but they did inform in in advance. Our tour guide Tim was very knowledgable. I would suggest a day tour on its own to Hoi An cos by the time we arrived it was already dark and not so much time to hang around. Going to Marble Mountain is not a must do if you have limited time.

My sister and I recently toured Vietnam and were so happy we included this excursion. At the start of the excursion we were able to visit a temple, we were able to have a dinner with the group, and we ended the night at the night market where we had the fun experience of taking the lantern boat ride then some shopping.

Great experience! The itinerary is well organized. The visit to Marble Mountain required a lot of climbing, so prepare yourselves for this cardio exercise. Hoi An was beautiful with a lot of lighting and beautiful lanterns. Food was decent. Our tour guide, Thao, was friendly and helpful. She did a good job on introducing about the history of the places.

Beware of the weather

I asked twice before we went if the tour would run due to the weather. Commercial pressure over customer pleasure won. The elevator to Marble Mountain was closed and, the stairs near impassible. People did brave it. Hoi A was flooded. Ankle deep in water in the streets, hard to define where the river started and the path ended. The boat trips were not happening, very few lanterns and no people about or entertainment. The Japanese Bridge was at water level. My shoes ruined by the dirty water we had to paddle through (no choice) The positives are Loan is a great host, the meal was excellent. Most of the people on the tour stayed on the bus at Marble Mountain and in the restaurant. I still enjoyed braving the weather, should I be expected to travel in that weather? NO! It’s dangerous. A credit towards future tours should be the minimum offered. Not an airport transfer already arranged.
