Heading West from the East End of St. Thomas (Red Hook area) follow route 35 through passed the Eudora Kean High School, the National Guard Armory, go through the stop sign at the top of the hill and before you reach the bottom of the hill, take the left and follow signs to compass point marina at the end of the road. The Best Excursion We’ve Ever Taken

This was hands down the best excursion we’ve ever taken. The boat was pristine, the captain (Zach) was a doll, the three snorkeling stops were to die for, the food stops at ZoZo’s & Ritz Carlton were so memorable, and the history that was shared with our family pertaining to points of interest (Epstein Compound) celebrity spots (Kenny Chesney’s Home and the house where Brad & Angelina vacationed at) and the economies of the islands was more than worth the price of admission. All four of our children (ages 15, 10, 7, & 3) said hands down it was the best excursion ever. Thank you, Thank you Local Legends!!

Outstanding Family Activity

We booked this trip for our family, which included a 10yr old and a 13yr old. We had an amazing time - our captain was a wealth of knowledge about the history, geology, and ecology of the islands. We hit three snorkel spots, a swimming area, and lunched on St John. We gave our captain an idea of what we wanted to do, and he gave us a few options based on time, fuel, and sea conditions. If you need a lunch stop, be aware that the restaurants on St John can be very slow and will eat up a good chunk of time. If you are booking as a cruise excursion, be sure to make arrangements for transfer to the marina ahead of time - the taxis gave us some hassle about taking our group of 5 there without a full cab. In short, I would book this trip again in a heartbeat!
