The boat was very clean, the captain managed to fit the 3 ‘must see’ places within 3 hours 15 mins, including a swimming spot, and the snacks and drinks available for purchase was handy.

To start, could not open tickets in the email. The day before the planned excursion we messaged asking for tickets to be resent. We were told they had no email associated with our number even though we had received the previous email. We disembarked the ship at 0830 as planned with a meeting time of 0900 at the port. When we couldn't find the meeting place we tried to reach both Viator & the tour company without success. After finding cell service enough to investigate, we found the port to meet at was 1hr 45min from our ship WITHOUT PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION. Clearly we could not have made a 2hr trip at our own expense to arrive at 0900 when we could not get off our ship until 0830! Just after 0900 we received a call rudely asking where we were. The person did not speak any English but eventually passed the call to someone that did. That second person was even more rude & scolded us that we were late. When we explained that we were 2hrs away as the excursion was falsely advertised as a tour from Corsica we were told that they had communicated with us clearly. By that they could have only meant the brief text in French the evening before. When we commented that the communication was unclear & in french, we were met with the sarcastic comment "well you have Google translate on your phone, don't you? So, you will not be getting a refund!"
We have cruised often & used Viator almost every trip but this was equally the tour company & Viator's fault! Why when we search a tour from a cruise port are they selling such tours that are unreachable due to transport & travel time!!!
We have always tried to use Viator sponsored tours for local businesses but after this....... booking excursions from the cruise ship may have to be our new normal. One could expect some shady local company to scam you.....but never thought Viator would say "sorry, there's nothing we can do".

We were misinformed on the location of the excursion and were unable to make it in time and were refunded absolutely nothing, losing over $700!!!

Jammer dat de uitleg alleen in het Frans gegeven werd. Enige Internationale aanpak maakt de excursie nog leerzamer.
Verder was het een mooie trip langs de calancges en het natuurgebied. De kapitein deed zijn best om de beloofde zwemstop te realiseren. Vanwege aanwezige kwallen was dat niet gemakkelijk.
Hopelijk komt een deel van de betaling ten goede aan het in stand houden van het natuur reservaat
